"Alrighty campers! Time to get up!" I yelled as my alarm went off. Bree quickly stood up and rushed into the restroom, taking her clothes with her. She came out a few minutes later, dressed in jeans and a plain white shirt. The rest of the girls went. I then got dressed in jeans and a red top. We all walked down to the lodge for breakfast. I ate my scrambled eggs and bacon quickly, finishing it off by downing a glass of water. Just then my phone started to ring. I pulled it out and smiled at the "Niall <3" name on the small screen.

"Hey babe!" I said into the phone. The room was loud so there is no way anyone can hear me. However, Bree snapped her head so she was looking at me.

"Hey love, how's it going?" Niall asked. He seemed like he was in a hurry.

"It's going great. Everyone is so nice here. I miss you." I said into the phone. Bree squealed, realizing I was talking to Niall.

"IS THAT NIALL?! CAN I TALK TO HIM?!" She yelled.

"Who's that?" Niall asked, clearly confused.

"One of the campers, Niall." I informed him.

"Oh, okay. How's Ren?" He asked.

"He's doing great. I gotta go, I'm taking the girls to the track. I love you." I smiled at me cheesyness.

"I love you too. Bye babe." Niall said. I smiled at him, still not over this whole 'boyfriend' thing.

"Bye Niall." I said, hanging up the phone.

"That was Niall wasn't it. Oh my god he asked who I was. Oh my god this is amazing. What if w-" Bree started to ramble, however Kylie cut her off.

"Oh my god Bree shut up." She complained.

"Be nice Kylie." I scolded. She glared at me then turned her attention to her food. The bell rang signaling we could leave. I put my plate on the counter then walked back to the girls. They stacked up their plates and Bree was carrying them over. She put them on the counter then returned to the group.

"Alright, let's go!" I cheered, trying to be peppy. We walked to the barn and took out all the horses who had already finished eating. I groomed and saddled my horse then helped Amelia saddle her horse, due to the fact she was feeling a bit weak today. I patted her on the back then put my bridle on Renegade.

"Alright everyone, let's mount in the arena then warm up there, then we can head over to the track." I said. A chorus of "okays" and "sures" ran out through the area of the barn. I led Renegade into the arena and mounted, walking around three times with the girls. During that time I told them how to ride at the track and what they should do if the horse starts going to fast for their liking. After we warmed up, we walked in a single file line all the way to the track.

The track is a race track, except smaller. I read online at the end of each camp they hold a race, and the winner gets a prize. There is also a race for counselors, too. I had all the girls line up at the starting line. Then blew a whistle. All at once, the horses bolted, Renegade taking the lead. I sat in the jockey pose, letting Renegade go even faster. It seemed impossible, but hey, my horse is impossible. I flew way ahead of all the other horses, and finished with a good 20 lengths in front of them. I stood up in my stirrups as Renegade slowed down after his full - on gallop. When we were riding, I felt as if Ren had something still left in him, something even faster.

Eventually all the girls finished, them looking tired.

"How the crap does your horse go that fast? My horse is part thoroughbred!" Kylie compalained. I shrugged.

"Quarter horses are faster than thoroughbreds, but can only run shorter distances. However my horse is... is something special." I patted Renegade on his sweaty neck.

"Alright girls, I'm pretty sure Ameilia was first out of you all. What I want you to think about is tactics. How will you get your horse to pass all the others? Some say be like Secretariat: Start in the back, and pull up. Some say stay in the lead. Think about that tonight so we can try that tomorrow. Now who wants to go on a trail?" I explained. All of the girls raised their hands. I heard a horse trotting up behind me and looked to see the boy riding a beautiful palomino.

"Hey, looks like I have some competition." He smiled at me.

"You sure do, but you might as well not even try, I'll just leave you in the dust." I said. The girls choroused with "oohs" I sent them a smile.

"See you later, Ariana." He said, trotting off.

"Alright girls, let's go." I said to them. They all followed me off the track as I led them toward the massive forest looming ahead.
