Roadie: A Summer Set FanFic

After looking through old chapters for information needed for future chapters, I realized a few things: a) I have a lot of crap information that wouldn’t ever really happen if this story came true, and b) I have a lot of crap information that I don’t like anymore, so I’m going to change some.

1.      In Chapter 1, page 3, a quick description explained that all expenses were paid. I haven’t added anything about what expenses were paid, so I’m just changing that information altogether. Instead, the roadies will be paid during the tour.

2.      In Tess’s application for the Junior Roadie program from Chapter 2, page 3, she listed her birthday as February. I honestly put that because it’s my birthday. But I’m changing it to August, so that she’ll have her birthday during the tour (she’ll turn 19).

3.      I know very little about actual tours as I am not a touring musician, and in Chapter 4, page 5, I originally listed the tour as being a few months long. That suddenly seems highly unrealistic, so I’m shortening it to 1.5-2 months. I took out the sentence that had the actual length of the tour in it, so after this edit, there is no definite length of the tour listed in the story. I’m going to basically play it by ear and just end the tour whenever events that have been stirring in my evil mind for the last year seem appropriate for use.

4.      I don’t know if I ever described the bus in any chapter. I think I started to, but deleted it. I can’t find it now, if it is there. (If you can find it, let me know!) But here’s how I want to describe it: a front lounge with couches and a table with a little kitchen, then the six bunks, then the back lounge with a gaming systems and the bathroom. Not very detailed, but I originally pictured it without a back lounge. Then, I saw a bus tour video from Jess and Stephen so I decided to change it in my head.

Thanks for reading this because it’s extremely important that you guys are aware of these changes. I don’t want any, “Wait her birthday’s in February!!” comments if I have a chapter including Tess’s birthday, or anything of that nature. If I’ve included any other details that are confusing or have changed during the story, I’m very sorry, and please point them out to me. Keep in mind that I’ve been working on this story for over a year now and I don’t have the whole thing memorized.

 Chapter 11 is in full swing and it's getting to be quite long, so I might even have to cut it in half. I want to post it within the next week, but usually I can only write on the weekends. I'm doing my best though. Thanks for your patience!
