Three months later
I was being homeschooled for the moment. But what can I say I loved it. I get to interact with my parents and kids. I had gone shopping to buy them some clothes, I had found the cutest outfit ever for the twins and had instantly changed them into it as soon as I bought it.
My daughter now wore a head band with a big light blue satin rose her dress was white on the top with a deep purple heart filled with light blue designs another rose adorning the corner of one heart. Her skirt was the same deep purple and light blue designs. She wore some little black cotton shorts under the dress for comfort.
My son was wearing some pants made out of a soft material so it wouldn't hurt his skin, I just want to be careful about these things, his white shirt had a design in the shape of a tie the same deep purple and light blue designs swirling in it.
They were perfect. I was so excited to show my mom the New outfit I drove home and slid them into their stroller walking up to the door unlocking it with my keys
Next thing I know balloons fall on my head as people yell surprise I look around the room and see my parents smiling at me. I push the babies stroller inside before rushing over to hug them.
Big helium balloons hung in the air. Half the room pink the other blue but when the met in the middle turning into a lovely purple shade. Its a boy! Its a girl! She's a teen! I looked up at each balloon laughing at mine and looking at my parents," She's a teen? Really!" I burst into a small fit of giggles before I looked at everyone who was here.
I saw Andrea, Kristine, Rick, and Jordan off to the side. "Why you slick bugs!" I screamed before running over and hugging them each individually.I had missed them so much. They we're my best friend since elementary but I haven't gone to see them since I had my kids. I could only Skype or talk on the phone before I was interrupted by one of Carter's or Alice's infamous crying wails. I swear I had almost died of exhaustion for the first two weeks but eventually I got used to it. And I loved it.
"Foreshame you thought we would miss all of this, besides," Jordan said smirking playfully," You would miss ALL OF THIS!" he said gesturing at his body wildly as we laughed before Kristy piped up,"Stand down before she has your head on a platter." I laughed at their familiar bickering before Rick interrupted them," Sorry to interrupt your lovers quirrel but we have a baby shower to worry about." he smirked as I saw Jordan and Kristy's cheeks bloom with color.
"Aca-what!" I yelled playfully before Andrea muttered something under her breath annoyed. "Guys you just got her aca-started I suggest you run far and I suggest you run there fast." they both paled as I smiled evily before walking towards them slowly.
"Maya! Come here dear!" I heard my mother calling me as I cursed softly before covering my mouth," Oops! And you two I will find you and I will kill you." I say playfully cajoling as I walk off but soon bursting into laughter as I hear Jordan ," Did she just quote taken?"
"Yes mother dear." I say playfully batting my eyes. Before turning to my moms little sister and older brothers. "Auntie Jenna, Uncle Drew, Uncle Josh! Hey how are you?" I smile as they walk over and hug me. "We are wonderful-"Jenna was cut off by Drew.
" We missed you and We're wondering how-" he was instantly cut off by Josh.
"You managed to grow up so fast?" soon all the sibling were glaring before my mother cleared her throat. Their eyes widened innocently. As they laughed before walking of from their sisters angry gaze as she followed out shaking her head smiling at them lovingly.
"They are such dorks." she smiled fondly as I found myself laughing,"What?" she said suspiciously. "Their probably like that because they hung around you too often growing up." she pouted and looked at me playfully." oh really it seems the genes passed down to you." I just shook my head.
"Nah dad would've told me if I got weird. Then he would've said you rubbed off on me." I said shrugging my shoulders lightly as the tips of her ears reddened."Oh John?" she smiled sweetly walking over to my dad who was talking to his Brother Zach.
I smiled as I looked at everyone. This was bliss.
