I held onto his shoulders tighter as it seemed he was picking up speed on purpose to try and scare me. Pshh Carter managed to do that but only once after that i was free willed and fearless. I would be at his house and through his window early in the mornings and he'd wake up and I'd already be there.
He loved when I did that. The first time I did it he freaked but then I was all like this is why windows have locks. He just started laughing and shook his head before going and taking a shower. He'd always come out wearing only pants it gave me time to admire him and he'd pretend like he didn't notice I was doing it. But he knew already.
It became a game for us until eventually we crossed the line from friends to something else.
*Flashback*
I sneaked out of my house at my usual time and took off running towards his. It would take me a good twenty minutes to get there and the sun would be creeping up by then. I got to his gate and opened it and ran straight to the window I used my awesome ninja reflexes and tripped halfway there. I got up sneakily and continued. His window was on the first floor and thank God for that.
The window was cracked open as usual and I took the running leap into it I swung my legs inside and stepped into the room.
"Umph!" I chrashed into someone and we started to fall. Oh my the bones in my body are gonna break from the extra weight is what I was thinking. The floor wasn't as hard as I thought it would be and it was warm to. I looked down and I saw Carter under me.
"Are you OK?" I could hear the panic in my voice.
"Yeah I'm fine." he said trying to shrug it off but my hands were on his shoulder so I moved them up. Big mistake I slipped forward and our faces were only inches apart.
"Thanks for taking the fall." I whispered blushing as I looked him in his eyes.
He gave me a smile a real one." I'll always fall for you always." He put his hand on my waist his thumb resting on the skin on my waist just barely touching me but the sparks still ran up my body.
He was looking at me and I leaned closer to him to kiss him but he stopped me." There's no going back if you do this." He wanted me to be sure.
"I know." I told him and finally our lips made contact and a fire lit inside of me.
Flashback over
The bike had just stopped so I hopped off. Alex was glaring at me." What? What did I do now?" I said aggravated.
"Your a heartless bitch." He said as he got off and looked at me coldly. He walked off but I grabbed his arm.
"How I've never done anything to you!" I was mad.
"You were going to fire that woman because she was a little bit late the princess is too precious to walk to school huh. Because you like her you won't fire her that's bullshit absolutely bullshit!" He was raving mad and I just stared at him mouth opened before closing it and catching on.
"She has a job to do and if she is late she can't do that job nor can I go to school she is given a task and it needs to be completed." I said as he stared at me like I was an idiot.
"What is so important that you had to try and fire her for being late?" He growled at me as I walked to class unfortunately he was in here too as we walked in the room went silent and the teacher stopped his speech." Since you and Alex seem to be late together you may do this project together it's a partnership. So please have a seat." I was about to protest but noticed the look he shot us.
When I sat down and looked at the packet I could feel my face pale. We are doing a a project about our future and the class is even in boys and girls he's decided to do it on marriage which means for the next 6 weeks we are married to our partner the first week consist of the marriage including the wedding everyone will get married on this Friday then after that we have to get to know each other in the following week and we will have a baby to take care of on top of that with a camera so they know we took it seriously. After the 5 weeks we have another week to make a music video, PowerPoint, or essay about what we learned about our spouse.
I can't go through this he can't learn anything about me." We're working at your house." I said and ignored him for the rest of the class time. He can not be allowed into my home. Not if I can stop it.
