Chapter 24- The Stupid and Oblivious

Dan's POV
The months had flown by in a blast and I was happy with my now normal life. Things had fallen into place and I was hardly ever worrying or alone, and I usually had a smile on my face. School was school, so there was nothing new there, however I had suddenly grown the urge to make my own Youtube videos, and after a lot of convincing from Phil and my other friends, I started, and let me just say that it is the most cringeworthy video looking back at it.

Mum and I were loving the new house, and my friends were always finding new ways to make me laugh. Mum's job was going really well and she was no longer hesitant about going out in public. Her friends actually came over a few days ago and said that they liked the new house, and that she was far happier then she had been.

As for my friends, they hadn't changed, but they were still as crazy, hilarious and entertaining as ever. Connor and Troye's relationship was sky rocketing and Tyler and Korey were starting to date. Zoe and Alfie were going out, and Chris and Pj were both crushing on each other which made me want to scream because they were both so oblivious, and that also went for the rest of the group. They would both blush if the other flirted and would get jealous if someone else tried to flirt with them or be affectionate. That was usually the people in our group because we were trying to get them together.

Tanya and Jim also were in a relationship and so were Jack and Dean, and Lily was still seeing Yousef, and Marcus was seeing Naomi, which surprised us, but we were happy for them anyway.

Kian and his friends had left us alone which was weird, but I was grateful for it, but I was still suspicious, but I left it alone and was thankful since I no longer dreaded going to school in fear that something might happen, or that someone would try to hurt me or Phil.

And last but not last, my beautiful Phil. We are still going strong and are inseparable. I was truly in love with him, and we practically living together. He was still as cute, adorable and good looking as he was when I first met him, and embarrassed me or showed affection whenever he could. He was somewhat protective of me even though he didn't need to be, and he knew that, but didn't mind, it was nice to be cared for. He was doing well in school, and was still as in-athletic as always, and was still in love with his internet, food, movies, books and video games. Phil's youtube channel was skyrocketing too, and was gaining more and more subscribers everyday. He was happy.

My life has finally become normal, something that I had wanted for a long time. I was no longer living in fear or not wanting to exist, and even though my life was moving at a fast speed, it was okay, and I was enjoying it. I was happy. Everything was just as I wanted it to be...

It was currently lunchtime and we were all carelessly sitting our table in the cafeteria, when Troye comes running over to the table, Connor following along behind him.

"Guys guys guys guess what?! Connor asked me to the formal!!" Troye announced, beaming at us as they sit down.

"Well I couldn't find anyone else to go with me, so who better than my beautiful boyfriend?" Connor said smirking at him, wrapping his arms around Troye's waist.

"That's great guys" Phil replied, smiling at them.

"Speaking of the formal, who still needs dates?" Louise asked, changing the subject. Joe, Caspar, Chris and Pj said that they needed dates. Phil and I didn't count though, since we already knew that we'd be going together, we just hadn't gotten the tickets or asked yet. I was planning on it though.

I suddenly noticed that Chris was staring at Pj, knowing fully well that he wanted to ask Pj to the formal, not noticing that I was looking. Pj then went to look at him, and Chris turned his head away immediately as he blushed in embarrassment, whilst I was trying to stop myself from yelling at them about how completely oblivious and stupid they both were, and I knew I wasn't the only one, as I caught Jim staring at them both with his lips pressed together, hoping that it would prevent him from speaking.
