Your POV

After about ten minutes, we finally made it to Mark's house. It was a nice two story home. The paint was a nice tan based finish with white trimmed windows. It was one of those types of homes that you would see in a nice neighborhood subdivision. He had a few neighbors but not a vast amount. While Mark parked in the driveway, I parked on the side of the street. I turned off the ignition and unbuckled my seatbelt. As I got out of my car and locked it, Jack ran over to me and grabbed my hand. He started to drag me into the house because I was "being too slow". I giggled and took my shoes off when I entered the house.

The guys went into the living room to set up the game consoles. They decided that we were going to play Xbox games first, then Playstation games. The first game was Halo 4. I thought to myself, 'He remembered that I loved this game.' I was given a black controller and I was up against Jack, Mark, and Wade. Bob went into the kitchen to grab a beer. The first round was a game of flood and the map selection was on Haven. As we spawned in, Mark was the first flood. My spartan was running towards the back of the map that was near the ramp to go to the ground floor. I hid near pillar corner that was near the ramp. Jack went to the center of the map and stood in the middle, watching each way to see if Mark was coming. Wade was just running around the map. Mark ran into Wade and killed him right on the spot. Next, he went after Jack. Jack saw him sneaking up the ramp near his position, and killed Mark with a headshot.

With only a minute left, it was just me. Wade killed Jack while his spartan was reloading. All the guys were now flood and I was on my own. I just assassinated Jack and shot Wade. Mark found my little hiding spot and assassinated my spartan. He shouted in victory. The next game was swat. The guys played while I sat out. Swat was one of those games that I hated, but loved it at the same time.

As we continued to play games, I began to feel more and more at home. I know I didn't want to, but I just couldn't help it. All the nights Mark would come over and play video games with me, or going to his house with Bob and Wade. I never forgot those memories. Times like these were the ones I missed in the two years I haven't seen them.

When the game finished, I decided to order some Chinese take out and asked the guys what they wanted. After I finished getting the orders and telling the lady over the phone, she said it would be about thirty minutes until the food arrives. I thanked her and ended the call. I put my phone back in my pocket and watched the guys play.

~Time Skip~

The food just arrived and Mark decided to pay the guy. I insisted, but Mark refused to let me pay. I asked him if I could sit outside and eat my food. I always loved gazing at the stars at night. He agreed and asked if they could join. I said yes and we made our way outside. I sat on a lounge chair near the pool, along with Bob and Wade. Mark and Jack put their feet in the pool and ate their food. While we were eating, we continued to talk about random things and new upcoming video games. I was ranting about how they made Cortana the antagonist in Halo 5. Of course, the guys were laughing at me. I can't help it, I rant about games if something doesn't go the way I want it to.

We finished eating our food about twenty minutes ago and started to look at the stars. Jack then broke the silence.

"Do you guys want to go back inside and play more games?" He asked.

Bob and Wade agreed and started to follow him inside.

"Mark, (Y/n), you guys coming?"

"Maybe later. Right now, I want to look at the stars." I said.
