Your POV
The day was filled with more and more exciting events. Fans came by and got to meet the guys and they seemed to enjoy every moment of it. More fans came to greet me as well, but I was enjoying everything from the sideline. I love to watch everyone enjoy themselves rather than being the center of attention.
As PAX was ending, everyone was getting ready to go to the after party as the fans were leaving to go home. Hayley and I decided to go back to my place and dress in more casual clothes for the event. The guys all went back to Mark's place to get ready.
We left my apartment around eight o'clock and decided to see everybody before the party became overcrowded. I saw my friend Luke in the corner, talking with some of our other friends that we have game nights with. I said my greetings to everyone and talked about some of the new upcoming games with them. I also told them that I started to play an RPG/MMO game on my PlayStation and they were scolding me for being a traitor. Jokes and laughter were shared until I excused myself to see if the guys had shown up.
I pulled my cell phone out of my pocket to look at the vast amounts of notifications on my screen. As I was looking through them, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around to see Sean and Wade standing behind me.
"Hey, guys!" I hugged them each as best as I could, due to the crowd.
"Hey, (Y/n). Sorry, we are late. Mr. 'Fashionably-Late' wanted to take an hour long shower and take forever to get dressed." Sean complained.
"By 'Fashionably-Late', I'm assuming you mean Mark?" I asked. Both of them nodded their heads.
"Y'all are something else." I laughed.
"By the way, have you seen him? We just walked in and we can't find him or Bob." Wade asked.
"No, I haven't. I was talking to Luke over there by the tables." I pointed to the open area.
"Well, might be best to go ahead and grab a table before they are completely filled." Sean inquired.
Wade and I followed him into a semi-circled booth in the far right-hand corner of the building. Hayley soon came and joined us as we ordered our drinks and some food. As we were all talking about how everyone has been, Wade pulled out his phone and said that Bob and Mark were trying to find us. So he got up and went on his little hunt for the guys. Sean was talking to us about his future plans for game plays and vlog ideas to past the time. I started a conversation with him about the Batman: Telltale series and how the story was dramatically increasing. Hayley was also commenting on how the developers created John's story, which was pretty well thought out in my opinion. It lacked a few details, but the developers did their best and the game was phenomenal. As we finished up the conversation, Wade came back with the two lost boys. We all greeted each other and they ordered their food and drinks.
Time was passing by slowly as we all talked about anything and everything. We all danced and enjoyed ourselves as if nothing was stopping us. By as the party grew to an end, we decided to leave and go back to Mark's house.
When we arrived, we decided to play some video games. The first game to be chosen was Mortal Kombat X, and I went up against Bob. After two rounds, I lost to Bob and he did a victory stance. I gave my controller up to Sean and leaned back on the couch.
I started to feel my eyes get heavy and felt myself go into a deep slumber.
Sean's POV
I continued to play the third round of Mortal Kombat and beat Bob with a fatality.
"I am the champion!" I shouted and put my fists in the air.
"Sean, can you quiet down a little bit? (Y/n) fell asleep." Mark said. As soon as I turned around, sure enough, she fell asleep next to Mark.
Mark then went into his hall closet and grabbed a blanket and pillow for her. He lifted her head to put the pillow underneath hers and wrapped her in the neutral colored throw. We all looked at her and Hayley came up with a devious plan.
"What if we draw on her face with a sharpie?"
"That would be wrong," Wade said.
"But who said we had to be right?" I pointed out.
Everyone nodded their heads and went to look for some markers. Mark found them in the desk drawer that was placed in his office. We all grabbed a marker and drew all over her face.
Mark's POV
This went on for about five minutes and she was completely covered. With all the laughter aside, everyone started to go to bed. Hayley decided to go back to (Y/n)'s place since her belongings were over there. Plus, she could also grab and cleaning supplies needed for when (Y/n) gets up in the morning and notices the masterpiece on her face. All the guys went to the spare rooms and called it a night.
I stayed downstairs for a few more minutes, cleaning up the living room and kitchen. After finishing the living room, I couldn't help but look at (Y/n). 'She hasn't changed since the last time I saw her. I figured she would've hated me at this point.'
I brushed all my thoughts aside and went up to her sleeping form. I brushed the stray hairs from her eyes and started to make my decent to my room. I took my shirt off and slipped my pants off until I was just in some boxer briefs. I climbed into bed, plugged my phone into the charger, and went to sleep.
~Next Day~
The sun started to shine through the curtains and position its rays onto my face. I sturred in my sleep, but my conscious was telling me to wake up. I stretched while rising up from the mattress, and then got up to get dressed. As soon as I was dressed in some casual shorts and t-shirt, I saw the guys already downstairs in the kitchen. I decided to join them and just when we were about to talk about what to have for breakfast, someone haunted us with just a few words.
"You guys are so dead..."
Hey everybody, it has certainly been a while. I am so sorry that it has been a year since I last updated, but I honestly just didn't know how to continue the story. I lost my thought process for a little bit, and I didn't want to write something I wasn't happy with. I feel like this chapter is just a filler, but I pretty confident it will be okay due to my hiatus. Since my last update, I graduated high school and just filled out everything for college. I am super excited for orientation that's coming soon and I just can't wait to start the next step of my life. Other things have happened, but nothing too concerning. But enough about me, how is everyone? Are y'all doing okay? I will be trying to get back into writing but for now, it's just a refresher. I can't believe how much the support for the book has grown and how much y'all still love it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything that y'all do. It's just amazing and thank you again. I will see y'all later, bye!
Also, I chose Maroon 5's new song, Girls Like You, because I am obsessed with it right now. Okay, that is all, goodbye!
