"I-I'm Garroth..." Garroth said, standing up. Hyria raised her hand and the tree creatures disappeared. "Did they scare you?" She asked. "No, I loved it." Garroth said, sarcastically. Hyria laughed and closed her eyes, her laugh reducing to a small smile. "What are you doing here, how did you find my little Hytte?" She asked. "To be honest.. I have no clue.. I was just running and.." Garroth paused and shuddered as he remembered the events that led up to him being here. "So, you were just taking a jog in the enchanted forest?" Hyria asked. "Y-yes..." Garroth lied. "So i'm just going to guess that you've always had that cut across your neck?" Hyria asked, raising one of her eyebrows. Garroth let out a long sigh. "It's a long story.." He said. "Trust me, young one, I have all the time in the world... Would you like to come in for a cup of tea?" She asked. "S-sure.." Garroth accepted and followed her inside her small house.

"I'm guessing you are from O'khasis." Hyria said, taking a sip from her cup as Garroth eyed his own, not really trusting it. But as soon as he heard Hyria speak her question, he snapped his head up. "How do you know?" He asked. "Your armor, it's what the guards would wear while in training... Did you know that the Lord's son himself designed it." Hyria said. "Did he now?" Garroth muttered, finally taking a sip from the cup. Hyria nodded. "Were you in training?" She asked. "Well, technically I just got out of training." Garroth said, telling the truth for once. Hyria let out a loud laugh. "Oh, Garroth.. I know who you are, you're the Lord's son, I may be old but i'm not an idiot." She said. "H-how did you..." Garroth muttered. "I was close friends with your mother, Lady Zianna." Hyria explained. "How is she doing, by the way?" Hyria asked. Garroth flinched at the mention of his mother. "S-she's... Dead.." Garroth managed to say. Hyria gasped and covered her hand with her mouth. "H-how!?" She asked. "S-Shadow Knights.. T-they attacked O'Khasis.. They killed my mother and kidnapped my brothers.." He explained. "Oh my Irene.. I am so sorry..." Hyria said. Garroth inhaled and stayed silent. "So why are you all the way out here and not back in O'khasis?" Hyria asked. Garroth mentally debated whether or not he should tell her or not. "I left.. I couldn't take the pressure, everyone expects me to take on lordship like my father, but I just can't, I'm just not ready for that kind of responsibility.." Garroth explained. "I see.." Hyria said, glancing to the ground. "Please don't tell anyone, I suspect all of O'khasis is looking for me right about now.." Garroth said. "I won't, and not only that, i'm going to help you.." Hyria said, standing up. "You are? How?" Garroth asked. "Follow me." She simply said, walking into a separate room. Garroth stood and followed her.

"I don't do this a lot, so consider yourself lucky." Hyria said, standing over a cauldron. "Do what?" Garroth asked, looking down at the bubbling water. "This." She said. Hyria plucked a hair off of Garroth's head before throwing it into the cauldron. "Ow!" Garroth hissed. "Sorry, just one more thing.." She said. Garroth yelled out as he felt a burning sensation on his lower arm, he saw as a cut appeared and blood started to drip from it. Hyria grabbed Garroth's wrist and pulled his arm over the water, letting the blood drip down into it, turning the water into a deep lava colored substance. Hyria handed Garroth a damp rag to put over the cut. She proceeded to pour weird ingredients into it, making it turn into many different colors. "What's the point of this?" Garroth asked. "Your Fate." Hyria said. "Huh?" Garroth asked. Hyria didn't answer, instead she held her hands over the pot and closed her eyes. When she opened her eyes they were pure white. "Garroth Ro'Maeve!" She yelled. The ground beneath him started to shake and Garroth peered into the cauldron, the image of a small humble village appeared in the water. Hyria's eyes turned back to normal and she looked down into the pot as well. She smiled. "Phoenix Drop... That's where your adventure starts..." She said. "T-that's all?" Garroth asked. "Oh there is much more I could tell you, but one should never know too much about their fate." Hyria said. Garroth opened his mouth to speak but fell silent when he heard yelling from outside. There was a loud knock at the door. "It's the O'khasis guard! Open up before we force our way in!" A man yelled. Garroth gasped. "Quickly.. Out the back door!" Hyria whispered. Garroth did as he was told and ran out, thanking Hyria once more before before disappearing into the forest. At the last moment she placed a spell on Garroth that would help him out of the forest. "Good luck." She said before walking to the door to deal with the guards.
