"Wh-where the hell are you taking me!?" Garroth screeched. "You'll see, but for now be quiet or they will find us." Laurence hissed. "Who?" Garroth asked, this time in a hushed tone. "My kind, the found out about what I did... Damn, Zenix must've sent a message.." Laurence said as he shifted Garroth into a more comfortable position in his arms.

"I-I can run on my own, please p-put me down." Garroth said. "No, you might run off and then they will definitely find you, and where I'm taking you, they will never find you.." Laurence said. "They won't?" Garroth asked. "No, I'm taking you to where I stay when I'm up here.. I put a forcefield around it that the rest of the shadow knights can't sense.." Laurence said.

"I'm so confused... Why were you sent to kill me in the first place?" Garroth asked. "It was originally placed so that I could gain immortality... But I'm starting to think that's not the only reason.. The nether wants you for some reason but I don't know what, they would never freak out this much about someone not completing an immortality kill." Laurence explained. "But-"

"Oh for the love of Shad.. Will you shut up?!" Laurence exclaimed. Garroth furrowed his brow. "But I just want to ask-" Laurence shot his a glare, his baby blue eyes turning blood red as his teeth started to grow sharper. Garroth gulped and fell silent. "Good.." Laurence said, turning back to normal.

After a few more moments, Laurence came to a stop in front of an old cabin. He dropped Garroth onto the ground and went up to the front door, waving his hand in front if it. The door swung open and Laurence motioned for him to come inside. Garroth sighed and got to his feet, following Laurence inside.

The cabin was small on the inside, only one room with a bed in the corner, some storage chests near a window and a cooking spit in in center. There was a pile of old weapons and armor in some corner. "It's not much but I only use it while up here and not in the fiery pits of hell.." Laurence said, kicking at a metal shard that was on the wooden floor. Garroth shrugged. "Well, I have to go check on something, Make yourself at home.." Laurence said before walking out.

Garroth sighed and walked around a little, it was nothing big but it wasn't terrible. Garroth attempted to walk over to the bed but he tripped over a rug. "Gah!" He screamed out as he fell face first on the floor.

He cursed and sat up, looking at the rug that made him fall. It had folded in half, revealing a small trapdoor on the ground. Garroth crawled over to it and pried it open, gagging when a revolting smell hit him. "What the actual hell is this place.." He muttered. Being the idiot he was, he decided to climb down the ladder.

When his feet hit the ground he felt dizzy. He sensed a great darkness in this room and it was making him sick, but still Garroth proceeded to go in deeper into the mysterious room. When he got farther in, the room lit up, revealing the most horrifying scene.

There was blood splattered everywhere, some on the walls even spelt out word, including..

'You can't escape.'

'Hell is the only way...'

and 'There is no turning back now..'

Garroth almost threw up, on top of the blood, there were corpses of animals and people. Garroth quickly scrambled out of the hidden basement. When he got back up he slammed the trapdoor closed and pulled the rug over it. "I can't stay here.. Or I'll end up dead in that room.."
