Garroth was still unconscious, its been at least two days since the incident.Laurence sighed and leaned back into the chair he was sitting in, which was next to Garroth's bed.
"Please wake up.." He whispered. As if his words were magic, Garroth scrunched his nose before opening his eyes.
"G-Garroth!" Laurence exclaimed. "Ugh.. What happened?" Garroth asked, sitting up, putting a hand on his forehead. "You beat up Gene and then blacked out." Laurence said.
"What?" Garroth asked. "Yeah I was pretty crazy." Laurence said. "But you've been asleep for two days."
"Two days?!" Garroth yelled. "Yes.. I was starting to think you weren't going to wake up.." Laurence said. "But you did and I'm so happy!" He exclaimed, hugging Garroth.
"Ow!" Garroth yelped. Laurence shrunk back. "S-Sorry!" He exclaimed. "I-It's okay.. I'm just a little sore.. I don't know why though." Garroth said.
"Probably because you went into that form.." Laurence said. "What form?" Garroth asked. "Before you beat up Gene, you changed.. Your eyes were white, you had different clothes, so on." Laurence said.
Garroth paused. "What in the name of Irene.." He muttered. "Has this happened before?" Laurence asked. "No! I don't understand, what's going on with me?!" Garroth lashed out.
Laurence froze. "I don't know.." He said. Garroth covered his face. "I want go home." He said. "It's not safe." Laurence said. "I know, plus Father would have my head for running away like that." Garroth said.
Laurence nodded. "You should get some rest." He said. "No, I've been asleep for two days I don't want to go back." Garroth said. "Why not?" Laurence ask. "What if I don't wake up?" Garroth asked. "That won't happen, but you don't have to sleep if you don't want to." Laurence said.
Garroth nodded and swung his legs over the side of the bed. "Actually, you must be hungry." Laurence said. "I mean a little.." Garroth said, placing a hand on his stomach. "Good, cause I made soup like two hours ago, it might be cold but I can put it over a fire." Laurence said, standing up.
He grabbed a pot off of one of the wooden tables. "Thank you.." Garroth muttered. "It's no problem at all, I want to help." Laurence said.
"Why do they want to kill me?" Garroth asked as Laurence hooked the pot to a pole that was extended over the fire. "You have a power, that's obvious.." Laurence said. "And Shad wants that power." He added.
Garroth hid his face in his knees. "I don't want to die.." He said. "I know.." Laurence said.
