I wake up severely depressed. I have nothing to look forward to. I won't be able to see Jesse's reaction when I cover his car with plastic wrap or when I cover his face in waterproof make up or when I...

Actually!

Wait no, I still can't do that.

I reluctantly pull myself out of bed and haul myself into the shower. I wash my hair then get out and change. I let my wet hair drip onto my black clothes and dampen the floor because my life has no purpose anymore. Time to go full on moody bad girl because there's no reason for my existence anymore. I can't imagine what Jesse is feeling because he has nothing to fall back on: he's just a prankster. At least I'm a badass as well.

"What mood are you in?" Damon asks sourly as I enter the kitchen.

"A bad one." Duh, look at me.

"Why?"

"Because I am. Get off my back."

"Oh, you've gone hardcore rebellious teenager, haven't you?" Damon says amusedly.

"Oh, you've gone hardcore rebellious teenager, haven't you?" I echo in an effort to mock him.

"Woah, calm yourself, KT! Why are you treating me like I'm your parents not letting you go to a party?"

"Because Mr Johnson banned me and Jesse to mess with each other."

"So that's it then? No more pranks?"

"Of course not, we get other people to do it for us."

"Then what's the problem?"

"I don't get to see his reaction, you know. It's just not the same."

"But you can be there and watch him get pranked, you just can't actually do the pranking." Realisation dawns upon me, what Damon says is true. I was just looking at the worst side of everything.

Welcome to the life of a pessimist, don't enjoy it!

"Thanks, Damon!" I abruptly leave to get to Roxy's place and tell her everything we are going to do today.

"Wait, what are you doing?"

"Leaving. Peace," I say and poke my tongue out as I leave the apartment.

Round 1: Homeroom

Roxy, Scarlett and I are off to the side of the classroom where we are just chatting about what we're going to pull on Jesse when he walks into the room.

"Guys!" I say to shut them up. They both instantly look at the door and turn back to me like possessed dolls.

"He's here!" They squeal in unison.

"No shit," I deadpan.

"What do we do?" Roxy asks.

"Nothing yet, we have to wait for him to forget about our presence then we can go for it."

"Cool, let's just wait for attendance to be called, then we can think about it," Scarlett reasons. We all nod and continue to gossip before the teacher comes in, thank god it's not the history teacher or we all know which asshole would begin to speak. It just so happens to be the gym teacher who could not give less fucks.

"Okay class, I'm just gonna give full attendance, congratulations you're all on time. I'll be in the faculty lounge, do what you want and don't get me if you need me." And with that, he leaves.

"Well then," Scarlett huffs.

"Oi," Roxy nods her head to see Jesse leaning back in his seat, fast asleep. "I think he forgot about our presence.
