Eighteen.

That's how old I am now. April 13th (I'm an Aries, it all makes sense now, doesn't it?).

I spent the day at my parents' house with Damon and my sisters and opening ALL the presents - there were many. People are going to arrive at our apartment soon for our party and I couldn't be more excited.

For many reasons, but mostly for Jack's plan to come to fruition. That's right ladies and gentlemen, the whole reason Jack and I got together (the Damon plan) is finally going to happen.

We spent most of the day yesterday brainstorming what was going to happen when we try and pull this off because, let's face it, neither of us thought that far ahead.

And yes, some of you may be thinking, 'but Jack only did it because he wanted to get close to you, and now you're together there's no point.'

Well, to that I say 'fuck you' and watch me mess with my brother's head. I need closure. I'm a completionist so once I commit to something, I commit.

We've decided that Jack is going to break up with me because he 'just doesn't feel it' and that the sex ' just isn't that good'.

I pointed out when Jack suggested he cheat on me, that if it were going down he'd grovel in apology and then Damon would be like, 'you've broken her fucking heart, I've never seen her like this before, you better fix this or I'll kill you.' But the whole point is that Damon needs to be livid, therefore no redemption arc for Jack.

"I still can't believe my baby siblings are eighteen!" Cleo gushes.

Skylar collapses on Cleo, making her catch her. "I know, dear sister. The days are fleeting. The years have gone. They fly past without a care of who it harms. Life hath no crueller mistress than time itself."

"Calm down, Skylar. It's not like eighteen actually means anything in this country. I still need to keep my fake ID."

"You mean my ID," Cleo points out. I smile sheepishly at her and nod.

"It's weird that Jack isn't here yet, I thought he'd be here earlier," Damon says with a frown, looking at me for answers, I shrug and suppress a smile, watching him leave the room. Everything is going to go according to plan. "I'll call him."

"Maybe he's scared of us, Cleo. I bet KT told him how crazy we are." Skylar nudges Cleo next to her with an evil grin flashing across her face.

Cleo lets out a short laugh. "Correction, how crazy you are."

"Trust me, he knows all about both of you and he's terrified."

"He better be," Cleo says, trying to come off menacing. "No one messes with my baby sister, except my other baby sister, but that's okay."

"Hell yeah! I am untouchable. Now when did you say Roxy was gonna be here? I haven't seen her in ages," Skylar moans.

"God, sometimes I think she's your friend and not mine. But she'll be here soon with Scarlett."

Soon the party is in full swing and, as planned, Jack still isn't here.

"I don't know what's taking him so long," I say to Roxy and Scarlett. "He said he'd be here hours ago and he hasn't replied to any of my texts."

"Is he driving? He might be stuck in traffic?" Scarlett suggests.

"Maybe he started drinking early and passed out?" Roxy says.

I take a prolonged sigh. "I don't know. Damon called him before the party started and he said he was gonna be here soon."

Scarlett wraps an arm around my shoulder. "It's okay, KT. He'll be here soon. You look hot as fuck and you're eighteen! Nothing can stop you tonight."
