02 - The beggining of it all

Jaden

- Aye bro, u leaving now? - Kyree said.

- Yeah, this girl which is daughter of my mom's friend is moving with us until her mom moves in.

- Hm u gon smash her?- Dario said laughing.

- Hell no, u know I'm in this thing with Jess. Gotta go, see y'all.

I got into my car and I drove home. When I got there, my dad was already home. My mom yelled my name from the kitchen so I went there.

- Jaden, please, can u go call River for dinner?

- Sure, but I don't even know her yet...

- That's ok, she's nice.

- Ight.

I went upstairs and knocked on her door, which was across mine. She said "get in" so I opened the door but I stood there.

- Hey, my mom is calling u for dinner..

- Ok, I'm coming.

- Uh, btw my name is Jaden.

- I'm River. - she said smiling.

- So we're waiting for you downstairs ok?

- Yeah. - she said smiling and I smiled back. She was fine asf but u know, I was kinda starting this thing with Jess, the girl I had a crush on since middle school and she finally noticed me, so yeah, forget about it Jaden.

Few minutes later, River joined us at the dinner table and we started having dinner.

After dinner

- Tomorrow is Saturday, Jaden do u have anything planned? - my mom

- Not yet, why?

- Why don't you show River around?

I looked at her and she was kinda embarrassed.

- Nah, u don't need to take your time, I'll just stay home... - Riv

- I really don't mind going...

- Nah, I'll stay home..

- Then imma stay home with u. - I said smiling to her and she looked down. Damn she was really shy. I had to take that shyness (idk if this is even a word 😂😂) away. Anyways we ended eating, so I put my plate at the dishwasher and I ran into my room. I told Jess I was gonna call her after dinner time.
