16 - Please Forgive Me

SORRY FOR ANY MISTAKES!!

Jaden

I can't believe that I opened up to River like that, specially when I haven't talked to her in 1 month. She sad she was sorry. How many times have I heard that? But they say it then they do it all again.
Right now I actually don't wanna talk to anybody right now. Like i just wanna go home and lay in my bed. But in the way I got a notification. It was a text from River.

River: "I'm sorry that I didn't say nothing but 'I'm sorry'. I didn't know what to say and I'm really just thinking about how I am a bad person. If you wanna talk to me please meet me outside my building. If you don't show up I'll understand."

I wanted to leave her thinking about how she is a bad person. But I couldn't, because she is not a bad person. Maybe I should go.
I turned around and I started walking to where she was.

River

I'd been looking at my phone for like 5 minutes, Jaden saw the text but he didn't reply, he ain't coming. I sighed and I got up from the stairs and started walking inside, but when I was about to get in I saw Jaden standing there. I started smiling because he came, but the fact that he was completely serious, totally took the smile out of my face.

Me: Thanks for coming

Jaden: Yeah

I looked into his eyes and I could feel the pain through his look. "Like did I really break your heart? Was it all my fault?" That's what I wanted to ask but of course it was me. I did that. I felt so bad, I never meant to hurt him, I love him.

Me: I don't even know what to tell you... I'm...

Jaden: Are you gonna say you're sorry again?

Me: ....

Jaden: Look if you have nothing to say let me know because you're waisting my time

Me: No, I just... Look I never meant to hurt you. But I did, and yes I'm sorry. I don't know why I would do something like that, I just... I don't know. I really like you. I love you Jaden.

Jaden: Do you know how many times I've heard that? And they always hurt me.

Me: But I'm not them

Jaden: Are you sure? Because you hurt me just like they did.

Me: Please let me prove you wrong, I'm not that person, and I want to show you how loyal I actually am. Can we start over? Like take back our friendship.

Jaden: Maybe. I'll try but I don't promise that I'll trust you again like I used to.

Me: I will take your trust back.

He just looked at me for a few seconds and then he turned around. Before he left he said:

- I hope so, because I would like to trust the one I love the most.

Then he started walking down the street.

I think I was with the biggest smile on my face right now. Suddenly someone tapped my shoulder.

Me: (turns around) Uh?

Mom: What are you doing outside? And why are you smiling so bad?

Me: Oh, hm, I'll tell you inside

So we went inside and I told her. My mom is like my best friend, I tell her almost everything.

Mom: Oh now that's good, it was already time for y'all to talk.

River: Yeah

Jaden

I got home and Malu, Malak and Craig were there.

Malak: Aye man where did you go?

Malu: Yeah?

Me: I went to talk to River...

They looked at each other super confused and looked at me again

Malu: What you mean?

Me: I went to talk to her and we good now

Malu: So you gon let her break your heart again?

Me: Malu please don't start

Malu: Start? Start what? You've been down the whole month because of her and now you'll let her get in your life and hurt you once again?

Malak: Come on Malu, maybe she deserves a chance

Me: And weren't you and her so friends? I know you got away from her because of me buy you liked her so much, do you really think this I'd worth it?

Malu: Whatever y'all, do whatever you want

next day

River

My alarm went off at 7 AM. I was happy today for what happened yesterday. I got up and got ready. When I was done, I grabbed my phone and got out of my room. I had to get out of the house immediately or I would get late.

Me: MOM, I'LL HAVE TO GET OUT NOW, I'LL EAT BREAKFAST IN SCHOOL!

Mom: OKAY, BYE!

I left and went to school.

Sorry guys I haven't been posting, I've been busy with school and other stuff, this chapter ain't that good but I'll make sure the next one is better.
