NM ( Noah's mom): Why are you like that?

Noah: I just don't wanna go back to LA mom... I was doing just fine here, Maya broke up with me because she said tha it wouldn't work if we were distant...

NM: But you know, it's the job... And we're gonna have a better life, in a nice house and nice things..

Noah: Yeah but the school I'm gonna be going to is my old school, where everything happened with Malu and Tayvion.. And I don't talk to Jaden, Malak, Kyree or Craig in a year..

NM: Nobody remembers that, and do you know anything about Tay?

Noah: I have no idea of where he is. I don't care tho

We got in the plane and I couldn't even sleep. I was thinking about how was it gonna be when I see all those people that I had to get away from because they were doing me no good.

*hours later in LA*

We got our luggage and then we got in the cab on the way to our new house. I was just looking through the window recognizing ever single place that we passed through and all the spots where I used to hang out. I didn't miss this at all. 20 minutes we got to our new house. It was nice but I swear I just wanted to leave and go back to Miami, where my girl -- well, not my girl anymore -- and all my friends were. I was loving being in there, I don't wanna have to see all those people again. Anyways, I helped my mom unpacking and then I went to bed, I was starting school tomorrow. Smh.

*next day*

Jaden

This class was actually being interesting. This girl started fighting with my teacher and it was just too funny. Then the bell rang and we got out. I walked to our spot, finding River, Malak, Kyree and Craig there, Malu wasn't there probably because of River.

Me: Wassup

Everyone: Hey

Me: Where's Malu?

River: I don't know and I don't give a shit

Craig: Damn chill

Malak: She's with Sasha

Kyree: Why is she with that hoe?

Malak shrugged his shoulders.

We were just just talking shit when suddenly Craig chocked on his water.

Kyree: Damn nigga, wassup?

Craig: Look

Jaden: Where?

Craig: Dat way

We all looked around and then I saw a familiar face entering school. I didn't recognize at first who it was but when I did I opened my eyes. It was Noah. He was different. He had this big ass curly hair and his style was litter.

Kyree: Shit boyy

River: oooo is that Noah?

Jaden: Yeah...

River: Damn his fine, Malu shouldn't have waisted thaat... Sorry Lak

Malak and I rolled our eyes

Jaden: yeah keep talking like I'm not here

River: sorry sorry

Noah

I got in the school and I noticed a group of people staring at me. It was them. And I girl that I've never seen before, but she was looking at me like she knew me. I'm glad Malu wasn't there. I ignored them and walked in school to go get my schedule. Then the bell rang and I walked to the class that I was going to have. When I got in I looked around and I noticed that that girl that was with them was in my class and the spot next to her was the only one available. Smh, I went and sat next to her. She looked at me for a few seconds and then looked away. She was pretty. But then she looked at me again.

???: hey

Me: sup

???: I'm River

Me: yeah I'm Noah

River: Oh I know

Me: how?

River: I don't think you wanna know how

I immediately calculated it was because of Malu

Me: Malu?

River: Yes

Me: Are you friends with her?

River: I was... Until we fought yesterday

Me: Hmmm, why?

I didn't really care but she seemed to be nice so I just started having a conversation until the teacher told us to shut up, but we really didn't

Riv: Really? I've never been in Miami

Me: I loved my life there, I didn't want to move in to LA again

Riv: Really..? why?

Me: you know, I left all the bad things, my past, in here, and when I moved to Miami it was like a new start, I had my gf that dumped me because she said it wouldn't work it we were distant, our relationship was everything to me, then I had my friends, my school... Coming back to LA it's like I'm coming back to my past and let it bring the worst side of me up again

Riv: oh I'm really sorry that--

The bell rang cutting her off.

River: Well it was good to talk to you Noah

Me: Same

I smiled and she smiled back, then she left.

Why did I open up to her like that? She was a complete stranger but I felt comfortable talking to her. Why tho? I got up and started walking down the hall and then bumped into someone. Shit.

Malu: N-Noah..?

I didn't say nothing and just kept looking at her. She was prettier, she stopped straightening her hair and now it was black and curly. She still had those beautiful brown eyes and soft pink lips. She still had that cute accent and that same good smell. Her body really glowed up, just like her style. Y'all have no idea. I really loved this girl.

Malu: W-what are you doing here?

I looked at her a few more seconds and then left. She really broke my heart.

I just kept staring at me, not saying nothing. Then he left. He was with this cute hairstyle, with curls. With his brown eyes. You know, he really treated me right, and I played him. Dumbest mistake of my life, probably.
