03 - Meeting each other

River

So I just went to my room and called my mom saying that everything was cool and the house was fine. I hated the fact that I was away from my mom and that she was alone, but I feel like maybe this is the right thing for me to do. I went to my Instagram. This boy Jaden, I knew his face from somewhere... So I just looked his name up on Instagram and I found him. Well he was Instagram famous and I saw him a few times on my explore page, that's where I remember him from, he's really cute but u know, I don't really care that much about boys, they're all some fuckboys and all they wanna do is hit and quit and hurt girls feelings. I got mine hurt before and that's when I got away from everyone and had no friends.

It was 4 am and I couldn't sleep and I was hungry, so I ran downstairs to get me some food. While I was at the kitchen I heard a noise coming from the front door. Oh hell no, to the no no no. So, just like on movies, I grabbed a knife and walked slowly to the front door. Then suddenly the lights turned on, so I screamed and the other person got scared too, the knife fell on the floor.

- Jaden??!! - I sad with my hand holding my heart.

- Why the fuck did you have a knife in your hand?- he said pointing his hand to the knife on the floor.

- Maybe because I'm not used to live with people who get outta home without permission and come back home at 4 am, right Jaden?

- Hm, please don't say nothing to my parents, specially my mom, she'll kick my ass harder than ever.

- Hm, I'll have to think about that.

- Please River, I'll no anything.

- Anything?

- Yeah, anything.

- OK, so tomorrow you gotta go get me some chicken nuggets with sauce and later order me some pizza.

- What the f-- *sighed* fine... Thanks for not telling my mom.

I just went back to the kitchen, put the knife where it was, instead of food got some water and went back to my room.

Jaden

That girl scared the shit outta me. And then she asked for chicken nuggets and pizza? Hell no, that girl is not shy at all. I just went to meet up with Jess. He talked a lil bit and we kissed u know. Then I went home and this just happened. Even tho River blackmailed me 😒 it was nice of her to don't say anything to my mom. I went upstairs, changed into comfortable clothes and fell asleep.

Next Morning

I woke up and it was 10 am. Yes, pretty early for someone who only fell asleep at 5 am. I stayed on bed for one more hour and then I got up. I did my morning routine, put some sweatpants, T-shirt and sneakers on and went to my car. I bought the chicken nuggets with sauce that River asked for and like I'm so nice I got home, went into her room silently so she wouldn't wake up, left her food on her bedside table with a note on it. Then I went downstairs to the living room to play 2k. Minutes after, my mom gets in the living room.

- Good morning Jay.

- Good morning mama.

- So, me and your dad are going to spend the day out together and we're sleeping at a hotel today, we make 20 years of marriage today.

- Hm, a hotel? - I just made this face 😏

- Jaden! U better stop boy... You and River be good and get along ok? Don't get out of home and leave her alone, ok?

- Yeah.

- Ok, your dad is waiting for me in the car, bye! - She said kissing my forehead and then got out of home.

So I had to spend the entire day with River at home. Idk what are we gonna do but yeah.

River

I just woke up and it was light bc I forgot to close the curtains. When I looked to the bedside table to grab my phone I saw a bag. I opened the bag and there were they, my chicken nuggets with sauce, he even brought it to my room. There was a paper too, saying "so I kept my promise, u better keep yours". I laughed at it because I literally fell asleep thinking about those chicken nuggets. I finally see it was worth it to move into here. I got up, did my morning routine, put some sweatpants, T-shirt and socks on, left my medium-sized curly hair down, grapped the bag with my food and went downstairs and Jaden was in the living room laying on the sofa playing 2k, so I suddenly jumped on the sofa scaring the shit outta him again, making me laugh.

- Riv, I swear the next time u scare me imma kick to ass.

- First of all, since when did I give you permission to call me by my nickname? And good luck with that. Just came to thank u for the food.

- Hm, I don't need permission of you to do anything, and since u don't tell my mom...

- I won't lol... So like I'm the nicest person ever, I'm gonna share my nuggets with u, but majority for me.

He laughed and we just sat there eating the nuggets and watching TV.
