Last night, I almost had another panic attack because of this guy. No wonder why I didn't recognize him. I'm so stupid!
I got absolutely no sleep last night thinking about everything which is why I look like a zombie now. Great, It's my first day of college and I'm going in looking like a freakin zombie.
"You ready?" Ansley asks. I sigh and nod as we open the door to reveal all of the reporters. Great, just like I left.
"Alex! How do you feel now that you are starting school again?" I don't answer, we keep walking. "Alex, you don't know who this guy really is so what if he goes to your school?" I stop in my tracks. I have thought about that. It's been running through my brain all night and to be honest, I don't know what to answer.
"What that monster did to us was horrible-"
"Alex you shouldn't-"
"I need to" I cut Ansley off. "He hurt us both mentally and physically. He killed the ones we loved! But what do you expect me to do about it when nobody will! The cops won't look into it, they are just rude and obnoxious and think we hallucinated. Well if we hallucinated then how the hell did everyone die? How did we let the ones we love fade away so easily out of our lives? All of you act like this is some big game but it's not! It's a choice between life and death" I walk away with tears in my eyes.
"You didn't have to do that-"
"Yes I did. I have been thinking about those few weeks on that island for the past two months and it's been driving me crazy! I just want a new start and I believe that college will be that for us" she nods and smiles.
"You're right. New school, new start" we get into the car and drive to school.

"Hey, can I borrow a pencil?" A guy asks and I sigh and nod. I grab my bad and grab a pencil and when I look back at him I smile. "Derek!" I give him a huge hug.
"Hey stranger how've you been?" He chuckles.
"Better and worse after I found out that Andrew is dead"
"That's great!" He smiles and I shake my head
"He's been dead for a while, there was no way that he was the person on the island which means that whoever did this is a stranger. I was fine until I heard that and now I'm on edge constantly" he grabs my hand
"It's going to be okay" I see Jake walk through the door with his new girlfriend and I sigh. "I don't know about that"
"Yes it will" Derek says just as the psychology professor walks in.
Okay Alex, you can do this. First day, new start.

Hey guys, sorry this took forever and sorry that it's really short but this was sort of a filler chapter. I wanted to get a couple of things off of my chest:
1) I understand if you don't want to read this anymore because they got saved already and all that. But I advise you not to because there is an even bigger reason to the whole thing than you ever expected so please hang in there.
2) There are many things that can go on in this book so let me know who's POV you want to be in more.
