Emiko's POV
"So, our Headmaster has decided for our school—" I continue to block out sensei's voice, as I occupied myself by playing with Zero's fingers under the table. Our fingers were entwined together tightly.
After the incident a few days ago, Zero couldn't stop apologising to me. I had found out that he got his memories back (thank God for that) and I was extremely relieved. It also seems that he had completely stopped talking to Yuki overall even though she tries her hardest to create a conversation with him.
We sat further away from her irritable self whilst Ichiru sat a few benches closer to us. For quite some time I noticed he had been following me around like a lost puppy and Zero didn't like it very much so I tried to keep my distance from him.
"Oh my gosh, I can't wait!" I heard one of the girls sitting behind me chatting excitedly to her friends.
"Yosh! I'm up for this, man!" Another male classmate cheered to his mates.
I narrowed my eyes. What happened?
I turned to look at Zero and asked, "Why is everyone so excited?"
He frowned and shrugged, "I didn't listen, sorry."
I sighed before searching for someone to ask. I spotted Wakaba Sayori, hoping she knew what was going on.
"Ehm.. Hey, Sayori, do you know what's happening?" I greeted, smiling a bit.
She turned her head to the sound of her name and she smiled back, "Oh yes, Headmaster thought we were kept indoors too much so he decided our class went camping along with a few night class students."
Cam..ping. Camping?! I widened my eyes, is he crazy?!
"We have to get up at one in morning just to pack our things and leave, annoying isn't it?." Ichiru states, joining in our conversation.
We couldn't go out there with a bunch of humans and very few vampires to protect them! The safest place right now is right here at the academy. With Rido on the loose and the level E's running wild, how does Headmaster think we'll manage this?!
That man is crazy..
"It'll probably be.. fun." Zero said, forcefully uttering the last word as he shuddered.
Yea.. Fun.

"Oi wake up," I heard someone say. I opened my eyes and looked at my surroundings. My eyes squinted from the sunlight directed on my face.
"Are we there yet?" I asked in a groggy voice.
"Of course we are, Baka. Now hurry up, we're only ones left sitting in the car."
I slowly sat up, kicking my feet free from it latching on the seat and stood ip immediately. I'd rather stay back at the doors and sleep or day. Why do we have to go camping, like of all things!
I hopped off the out of the car with Zero following behind me as I watched ahead to see a big crowd do students standing around with their friends waiting for the next instructions.
With my hair tied up into a messy pony tail, I wore normal casual clothes such as a very, very big white shirt and some denim shorts and some sport shoes to help me move around more. Most of the girls—including Yukj—decided to where flats which I thought was stupid because they were going sand in their shoes.
I was then greeted with an approaching Ichiru.
"Finally you're out, I was looking everywhere for you." He said. We were separated into different vehicles so that made sense. "Come on," Ichiru proceeded to drag me off only for my other arm to be gripped tightly, causing me to stumble back.
"She's not going anywhere. We're both staying here." Zero said coldly, glaring at his brother.
Ichiru returned his glare and the brothers were one-on-one having a scary glaring contest sending the other students watching to stand far away from us as possible.
"No, she's coming with me." Ichiru pulled my arm further but Zero would not loosen his grip.
"No, she's staying here with me." Zero replied.
"She's going!"
"She's staying!"
They were having a tug of war and I was stuck in between them. I sighed as I listened to them when their bickering was interrupted my the voice of Headmaster.
"Hello people!" Headmaster yelled through the speaker. I flinched from from the loud noise. Vampires have sensitive ears.
"Welcome to the very first camping trip of Cross Academy! Now I know you all have always been trapped inside those walls but do not worry because I came to the rescue! To start off, you all will be split up into six different groups!"
Loud groans of the students could be heard, their hopes with being with their friends were crushed.
"Don't nnhhguuuhhhh! me, this is just how things work. There is a large board set up to the side of me here and all your names are registered into different groups. You may all take a look now."
Students rushed over to the board, creating a large crowd around the board. Though there was too many people to see from the crowd and I sighed. I just needed to wait for them to clear up.
I suddenly let out a squeal as I found myself lifted up onto Zero's shoulders. He held onto my legs, making sure I didn't fall. I looked down at him, surprised. Ichiru scoffed quietly and looked away but nonetheless stayed behind us.
"Wh-What are you doing?!" I exclaimed, accidentally grabbing onto his hair.
"Ow, ow, ow. Geez, I was trying to help you and this is how you repay me, huh?" Zero replied, feigning hurt.
I rolled my eyes and said, "Go closer."
"Yes, your Highness."
I laughed evilly inside, That's right, you're my bitch.
"Huh? What'cha say?"
"Eh- Ehm, nothing!" I quickly replied. Oops, I said it out loud.
I return my focus on the board as I scattered through the names quickly. Emiko.. Emiko.. Ah!
I gasped in shock! Hell to the no. I am not wasting my life spending time with Yuki. I didn't even want to be near her! This was so unfair.
"Well? Have you found our names yet?" Zero asked.
Let's see.. Zero.. Zero..
I stop at his name and look at the rest of the members of his group. I then burst out laughing.
"What is it?" Zero was getting impatient so I decided to calm down my wildness and cleared my throat.
"You're grouping with Kaname and Ichiru and a few other day class students. Rest in peace, Zero." I said, snickering.
"What?! Them?! Of all people?! That's just great.. " He responded, slumping his shoulders after letting me down from him.
"That's too bad.. I wanted to be in your group." I huffed, crossing my arms and pouting before I was interrupted by a Headmaster's loud voice once again.
"LET THE GAMES BEGIN!" He yelled happily swaying his arms.
"What games?" I heard Aido ask.
