Emiko's POV

Was I ready? Well if it is pain, I am definitely ready. I've been through hell in my past so pain inflicted on my body will be no trouble to me.

"No. Definitely not." Zero growled, whipping his head over to look at me.

"But Zero—"

"I said NO." He cut me off.

I sighed, man he is so stubborn. If we can't perform the ritual, what do we do? Keep fighting until we are exhausted?

"I'm going to do it." I stated.

"No, Emiko—"

"Yes I am." This time I cut him off. "I can withhold the pain. I can do it. Don't worry about me, okay? It's only for a few moments and once I pushed the powers out enough, I'll stop."

He sighed, knowing I was going to stand my ground until the end. "Fine. But if it goes wrong, I'll knock you out and drag you away, understand?"

I smiled and nodded, happy that he agrees.

"Okay so when do we start?" I questioned.

"Now." Senri finalised. "You guys should try fighting them off while I set this up." He told the others.

They nodded and went back to killing the Level E's. Zero looked at me unsure but I gave him a reassuring him that made him relax his body a bit. He stayed close by with the rest of the group and continued to shoot the beasts with his gun.

I watched as Senri grabbed a random stick on the floor and started drawing a small circle around me followed by a larger circle. Between the circles has the an X symbol writing that said Thou inhuman. He then finished it off with other symbols next to it. He then grabbed a few random small stones and place them evenly around the circle.

"Are you ready?" He asked.

I nodded.

"Repeat after me. Those who defy existence shall meet this barrier."

I repeated the words and almost immediately a large circular sign appeared above us. The ground started shaking and the floor started to have cracks in them. I gasped as I see a ball of light coming towards me. As soon as it touches me, my whole body erupted with severe pain that sent sent me kneeling.

This is worse than I though.

I cried out as the pain increased but I had to endure it. I slowly look up to take in the scene. Zero, Yuki and the Aristocrats had stop fighting and watched on as the Level E's turned into ashes. They started into increase which shocked me. I swallowed the lump in my throat and I tried increasing my powers, trying to push further.

The beasts advance forward, turning into ashes and recreated their bodies.

I don't think I can keep up any longer. My body felt like giving up but my heart yelled no.

"Emiko stop! You'll kill yourself!" Zero yelled. But his voice didn't stop me.

Just.. a little.. longer. I thought to myself as I let my powers do it's worse. The sign above us increased and light admitted from it rapidly. The light rays eventually killing the Level E's slowly one by one. Slowly won't cut it. I needed them gone fast, every single one of them.

One more push of my powers.

"Emiko! No!"

My body started glowing purple indicating from the impact of releasing my powers. All I needed was one more push. One more. My body is weakening, can I really do this? What if I killed myself? What if I never saw Zero again?
