Emiko's POV

"Milady! Are you okay?! Are you hurt?! How did you fall in there?!" Aido yelled, running towards me in haste.

I sighed but nonetheless smiled as I responded to his questions that were thrown to me, "I'm fine now, Aido."

"Are you sure you're okay? You didn't hurt yourself did you?" A timid Ichiru says which made me sigh once again. These boys.. geez.

"I'm fine you guys, I'm not hurt or anything. Zero saved me which I'm grateful for," I say, glancing at Zero from a distance where he was talking to the Headmaster, probably discussing what had happened and more or less telling him of how I saw Rido.

I suddenly saw Takuma rushing past me towards Kaname. He stopped to take a breath before whispering in Kaname's ear. Kaname's face contorted sternly before he straightened his back. He then said something to Takuma where he nodded. They both split up, Kaname went to Headmaster whilst Takuma came towards my direction.

He stood before me and bowed, "Lady Kuran, under Kaname's orders I would like to escort you to safety."

I narrowed my eyes, "What is happening?"

Takuma hesitated for a moment before speaking up again, "A group of level E's were spotted around this area. Senri and Rima are evacuating the humans and Kain and Ruka are keeping watch of this area until all the humans have been evacuated. They will alert us if the Level E's are near. We will do our best to rid of them."

"Ehhhh? Then what do I do?" Whined Aido, stomping his foot as he wasn't given a job.

Takuma smiled kindly, "Your job is to hide and keep Lady Kuran safe as well." This made Aido pout.

"Uhm.. I'll keep you safe too, Emiko." Ichiru quietly said, playing with his fingers as I nodded, turning to Takuma.

"They are only mere Level E's, I want to stay here and help fight them." I told him, stubbornly standing my ground.

"Lord Kaname will not allow that, I will be punished if I do not escort you to safety. Even though he does not express his emotions openly, I know that he cares for you greatly and would kill anyone if he sees you hurt."

I bit my lip, debating. He has misunderstood. Kaname could never care about me. I thought. But even if I wanted to stay, I couldn't. Takuma will be punished for my stubborn actions and I wouldn't want that.

"Then what about Zero? He will be coming too, right?" I questioned, hopefully.

"Yes, of course."

I smiled happily. It made sense. Zero didn't need to fight alongside the Aristocrats because they will be already taking care of them. I think Zero needs some rest after saving me.

Speaking of Zero, I saw him approach us, shoving his gun into his pocket as his expression portrayed gentleness whenever he looked at me despite his usual cold face. Ichiru noticed this and shuffled a little further away from me, looking down at the floor.

"How are you feeling?" Asked Zero.

"I'm feeling fine as usual. I don't feel sick or anything." I responded, my lips curving up into a smile.

"That's good," He whispered huskily which made my cheeks redden slightly.

"Right, let us depart." Said Takuma, smiling kindly before spinning around, leading our group.

Zero took my by the hand and dragged me along. In the corner of my eyes, I saw Ichiru frown at this.

So after taking a few turns here and there, we finally made it to a large cabin. I could see students all in a line, eager to get in. The line was quite long, making me sigh. But luckily as a member of the student committee, we were able to push through in front and enter without any complaints.

I looked around the cabin. It seemed very warm and homey, even had stairs to travel to a different floor upstairs. I was quite surprised how funished this whole place is. I've never been to a cabin before.

Zero was currently dozing off in his chair and I smiled warmly at his sleeping face as the rest of the students packed themselves around the house either talking or sleeping. He had such a cute sleeping face.

I walked up to him with a blanket and place it over his lap. I then pulled lightly pushed his arm away where his head was resting. Before his head could fall, I swiftly pushed it back so it lay against the headrest. He looks comfortable now.

I noticed Ichiru had been watching me the whole time in a daze. When I caught him, he looked flustered and quickly turned his head away. Just when I was about to call out to him, Yuki had came out of no where and stood before me.

"Can.. Can I talk to you? It'll only be for a minute." She asked, hesitantly.

I mentally roll my eyes. Alright, let's hear what her pathetic mouth wants to say.

I followed her to the corner of the room so that no one was around to hear our conversation.

"Look, I'm sorry for everything. For, you know, pretending to be Zero's lover when I wasn't. For manipulating him and confusing his mind. I know I was taking advantage of his amnesiac state," She stated, looking down at her heads and fiddled with her fingers.

"Why?" I questioned, "Why did you do all that? You knew I love him, you knew that we were clearly in a perfect relationship. Not only did it make me hate you even more, but now I cannot stand less than five minutes being around you."

"I'm sorry. I-I just couldn't help it. I was jealous of our relationship. I, too, wanted a relationship like that with Kaname-senpai but all her ever looks at is you as if he loves you. It made me jealous and I turned to Zero for a better option, hoping he would be the one to mend my broken heart."

"You are confused. Kaname does not love me." I replied, looking away.

"But—" She began, but I cut her off.

"There was a time I loved Kaname to the point I would choose to die with him, but.. he chose someone else over me. I thought he loved me, I thought we were in love and yet.. my heart broke when he chose her. He chose the person that inflicted so much pain on to me."

Yuki narrowed her eyes and thought for a moment. Then she said, "Who is she?"

My lips curved up as I smirked. "Do you really want to know she is? No I should say, do you really want to know you truly are?"

"Wh-What do you mean? What are you talking about?" She stammered, stumbling back obviously feeling confused.

"Let me give you a little hint, hm? The girl who caused me so much pain, the girl who took everything from me.. is you." My voice lowered as I spat the words out. My smirk fell as my face no longer looked amused.

I suddenly felt a presence near by as it approached us.

"That is enough, Emiko." Kaname said, stepping towards us, stopping in front of us.

"But why, dear brother?" I say, when I heard Yuki gasp.

"B-Brother? Wait, Kaname is your brother?" Yuki asked in a shocked tone.

Kaname turned to look at me. "Emiko." He warned.

"She deserves to know who she really is, don't you think so brother? She is our sister after all."

"Wh-What are you.. What's going on?"

I scoffed. "Were you not listening? You are our sister! It means you are one of us, you are a monster just like us and your whole life has been nothing but a lie. You. Are not. Human!" I declared in frustration.
