You had just been recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D a month ago,so your jobs were pretty minimal. Fetching coffee, sorting files, writing up mission reports, the like. But the one thing you looked forward to most was lab duty.
You had to sort chemicals in the lab every evening, and you mostly looked forward to it because you got to see Bruce Banner, more famously known as the Hulk.
Bruce had really helped you when you had first arrived, giving you advice for your job. The two of you had really become good friends, and he had even introduced you to the Avengers.
That evening, when you walked in, he seemed very nervous and jumpy, mixing chemicals instead of sorting them.
You turned around from your box of test tubes, hearing a loud bang, and immediately burst into laughter.
Bruce was standing over a few broken beakers, his mouth open in confusion and his face covered in soot from the explosion he had caused.
'You are such a dork.' You say,cleaning up the mess,' Wait here, I'll be right back.'
You return with a cloth, and begin to wipe the soot of his face while he stares at you. You wipe the cloth over his forehead ,cleaning it up.
'Thanks (Y/n).'
'No problem.' You turn away, but he catches your wrist, pulling you toward him.
'Um, Bruce? What are you doing?'
'This.' He kisses you, taking you completely by surprise. You immediately kiss him back, pulling closer to him.
Both of you break away from the kiss when you hear the sound of applause. You look towards the door and see Tony Stark and Clint Barton standing there with grins on their faces.
'I always knew you two would hook up. Good for you Banner.' Clients says approvingly.
'Well I basically shipped you guys from day one, so.. I get bragging rights.' Tony says seriously. 'Proud of you, Banner, you finally got a girl.'
What do you mean 'bragging rights '? If anything I should have the rights.' Clint argues and the two walk away bickering.
You stare at Bruce for a while. 'What was that?' You ask.
'I have no idea,' he says,' but I know it was crazy.'
You laugh and kiss him again.
I don't even know.
But I love Banner, he's such a dork.
