High-school AU

You scribbled on your answer sheet, your hand starting to ache from writing for so long. Finally, after what seemed like a century, you finished your paper.

It was the last day of finals, and you were sitting in a hot classroom answering your last paper, History. You were really looking forward to getting out of the class and celebrating. Sadly, there were still five minutes left.

You set your pen down and looked around at the others. Everyone was scribbling furiously, occasionally glancing up to check the time. Except for Tony Stark. He was leaning back in his seat with his eyes closed, smirking.
Suddenly, he opened his eyes, as if he had sensed you looking at him. You whipped your head back, hoping he hadn't seen you. You slowly turned your head back, looking at him. He was smirking.

'Time's up, kids,' the professor said,'Turn in your papers.'

There was a chorus of multiple sounds as the rest of the class started giving up their papers. You turned yours in and walked out. There was a sea of students around you, pushing to get home. The finals were over.

You made your way to your locker and turned the lock, taking out the few books inside and replacing them with your bookbag.
'Hey, (Y/n),' A voice said.
You turned to see your best friend, Natasha leaning on the locker next to yours.
'Hi, Nat. How was French?' You asked, shutting your locker. The two of you walked out of the building, heading towards the school bus.

'Oh, same old. Easy as pie.' She replied, inspecting her nails.

'I wanted to ask,' he began, clearing his throat,' I'm holding a party tonight. My house. I've invited our whole grade. You can come if you want.'
You opened your mouth, unsure of what to say.

Natasha answered for you.
'We'll be there, Tony.' She grinned
'Okay. Great! See you tonight.' He walked away, pulling his bag over his shoulder.

You and Natasha boarded the bus and sat down.
'He is gonna make a move on you.' She sing-songed
'Stop it, Nat. He wants us to come to his party. That's it.'
'Sure. Whatever you say.'

You scoffed and turned away from her, looking out of the window. You suppressed a smile.

It was definitely gonna be a fun party.

As I said before, I don't know much about American high schools, so sorry if I got anything wrong.
I wanna write a second part for this, but I'm not sure.
So, I want you guys to comment yes or no on it. Then I'll see.
Send your requests!
