Bruce Banner sipped his coffee nervously, wincing as it burned his tongue. He was dressed in a sweatshirt and jeans, as inconspicuous as possible.
He had been sent here by Fury, with a few words about his target and what to do when he got her. Her file was on the table in front of him.
The target was sitting six feet away, sipping her own coffee. (Y/n) (L/n), expert sniper and assassin. There were rumours that she had been trained in the Red Room, and worked for HYDRA. Now, thankfully, she was unemployed.
Suddenly, (Y/n) got up. Bruce hurriedly looked down at the file in front, praying that she hadn't noticed him.
When he looked up, she was gone.
Bruce hurriedly gulped down his coffee and rushed out of the shop, file in hand and car keys in his pocket. He walked to the parking lot.
He searched through the row of cars, trying to catch a glimpse of (Y/n). Bruce mentally cursed himself. Someone like (Y/n) was hard to find. If he lost her, Fury would kill him.
He was just about to give up when he heard a click behind. A barrel of a gun pressed into Bruce's back.
'Why are you following me?,'(Y/n) demanded. The gun pressed deeper into his back.
'I'm not trying to hurt you (Y/n),' Bruce said,' I just wanna talk.'
'What do you wanna talk about?'
'How 'bout you put away the gun and I'll tell you?'
'How 'bout I shoot you right here and get away?' Bruce heard a bullet push into the chamber of the gun.
Bruce laughed. 'If you know who I am, sweetheart, you know that's not a good idea.'
(Y/n) sighed. She took the gun off his back.
Bruce turned around.
'Come on.' She said.
(Y/n) led him to a sleek black car. She held up a pair of keys, and the car beeped.
'Is that your car?' Bruce asked.
'Does it matter?' She grinned, and leaned against the car door.
'So,' (Y/n) began,' What do you wanna talk about?'
Bruce smiled. This was the part he had been looking forward to.
'I'd like to talk to you about the Avengers initiative.'
My sister gave me this idea, and I know it's pretty weird, but cool all the same.
