Maya's POV
I packed everything I will be needing for the vacation and headed to our dinning room to see mum setting up the table for breakfast.
'Hey mum' I greeted her with kiss on the cheek, 'hey baby girl, you all packed?' She asked me, 'yep' I replied and noticed that there was no sign of Shawn.
'Mum where's dad?' I asked her out of curiosity, 'oh he went to the grocery shop, we're out of milk' she said.
I never realized how happy she looked now, the sadness she had in her eyes is now nowhere to be seen.
I heard the front door open, and dad came inside with a bag in his hands.
'Good morning honey' he said ruffling my hair, 'morning' I greeted him, 'I see your packed already' he said eyeing my suitcase, 'yep cause Riley wanted me to sleepover tonight' I said finishing my last pancake.
'Alright my loves, I'm off to Matthews' dad said kissing me and mum on the forehead, 'OK let's go, I'm going there too. Bye ma' I said giving my mum a peck on the cheek.
Skipping the car ride
After we went over to Matthews'. I put my stuff in Riley's bedroom.
Me and Riley went over to topanga's because Farkle wanted to talk to us. When we got there he was already waiting.
'Ladies' he said when he saw us, I couldn't help but hug him cause he haven't done the 'ladies' in a longtime, 'Farkle' me and Riley said giggling. After that we both took a seat.
'So what's up?' I asked him and noticed that Riley is in her own world so I nudged her but that doesn't brought her back to reality, what Farkle said next brought her back to reality.
