Chapter 10

Maya's POV

After we all chose our dates, it's was finally diner time. Thank god I was starving. The dining table was too small for all 14 of us to sit but we somehow managed to fit us all in. I ended up sitting between Riley and Josh. Great.

'So kids senior year is starting in two months, any college choices?' Grandpa asked us. College? I never thought about it until now. I mean sure Riley haven't stop talking about going to NYU since we sneaked into that party. But I never personally think about it.

'NYU but I have few more choices' Riley answered first, 'Yale or NYU' Farkle said without hesitation. 'NYU or Stanford' Lucas said. 'Yale or NYU' smackle said and it came to Zay as he attemp to think about it, 'NYU'.

I continued to eat without lifting my head. I hear some clear their throat, I slowly lifted my head to see everyone staring at me, waiting for me to talk.

'Fine, I don't have any college choices yet because I haven't decided if I'm going to college' I confessed as I could see Matthews face turn into a disappointed look. 'Maya' Riley started, 'Riley please not now' I begged her. 'I need more time to think about it, plus senior year haven't even started yet yet'
They decided to let it go. Thank god.

After diner we went back to chez Riley, Josh and his red head decided to come with us. Let me just tell, how much of a PDA couple they are. I feel like Britney is trying to show off that Josh is hers. And sure at times I wanted to jump on her and attack her but then I realized Josh isn't mine and never will be.

Riley and Smarkle are currently fast asleep, as for me i was wide awake. I was leaning against my bed's headboard staring outside the window thinking about college and what would happen after high school. Will we all stay friends? I inhaled deeply. This is just too much. I need some fresh air.

I got up and checked the time it was 11:15 I shrugged, time doesn't matter in summer at least not for me. I changed into some denim shorts with a black tank top and pulled my favorite sweater over it.

I went over to Riley's bed and tried to wake her but all she did was moan and turned around. So I went over to smackle's bed and did the same thing but she repeated Riley's actions. I groaned, there's no way in hell that these two are gonna wake up. I decided to go alone to where ever I'm going. I slowly opened the door and stepped out, 'sleep tight my babes' I whispered to them even though they won't hear me before closing the door.

I slowly got down the stairs and I made my way to the front door, 'Maya?' Someone said just as I reached for the door knob. I frozed hearing that voice.
Josh

I slowly turned around, his face was something you could see in the darkness as the moonlight passes through the windows and hit it's light on his face. It felt like I was lost in darkness and he was my focus.

'Josh?' I said as it came out as whisper. His eyes traveled up and down my body, I could feel the heat raising on my face. 'where are you going?' He questioned. 'I'm going for a walk, I need some fresh air' I said as he stared at me and suddenly a smile appeared on his face giving me shivers across my body.

'Mind if I join you?'
