The Concert

Mei's POV

Today is the day of my concert. I have been practicing like crazy for this big night. I had invited the Sohma family to come to my concert as a thank you for helping me that night in the forest. Starish has been very supportive, but I never let anyone watch me when I practice. Luckily the walls in the practice room are soundproof, just as long as I don't turn the music on too loud. I am really nervous, because this is the first concert I will after my debut concert. Although, my debut concert was shared with Starish. Today I have an interview and a photo shoot before the concert. I am heading to the photo shoot right now. I already finished the interview. After the photo shoot I was supposed to head straight to the concert hall.

I was walking towards the building where the photo shoot was going to be taking place. Rei-nii didn't walk me today because he had his own work to do and couldn't skip it. I arrived at the building and headed into the room where the photo shoot was going to take place.

"Hello KIMMIE!" the director greeted.

"Hi Mr. Director," I replied.

"Are you ready for the photo shoot?" he asked.

"Yes, I am totally ready," I answered. I went to my dressing room and put on the outfit they wanted me to wear. Luckily, Shining knows about my situation. He did find me on the streets, so naturally he asked what had happened. He requested that I always wear long sleeves and pants or jackets when I went on photo shoots. Or they let me dress myself.

Anyways, I put on the outfit and the workers did my makeup and then I headed back to the studio. The photo shoot lasted for about two hours and then they finally released me. That was my last job of the day, so now I should head to the concert hall. When I arrived at the concert hall, I headed to my dressing room to get ready. I am doing a meet and greet with the fans before the concert starts. I finish dressing and head to the table where I would meet the fans and sign autographs.

After a good hour of meeting and signing autographs, I started to hear some loud commotion. I heard some girls starting to scream.

"Look it's them!"

"No way! They are so hot!"

"They are definitely my favorite band!"

I turned around to see Starish walking towards me. I waved to them.

"Hey KIMMIE!" Natsuki cried. At least he remembered to use my stage name.

"Hi guys, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"We can't come and support you, my butterfly," Ren cooed.

"Well, nothing is stopping you guys," I said.

"Don't forget about us." I turned around to see Quartet Night walking up.

"How could I forget about my little Mei-Mei?" Rei-nii asked.

"Well, I don't know about you guys, but you kind of interrupted me during a job," I reminded them.

"Oh right, sorry about that," Syo apologized.

"Don't worry about it," I assured. "Do you guys want to stay here and greet fans with me?" Both bands agreed and stayed to help me greet the fans. After another hour I had to go backstage and get ready for my performance. Starish and Quartet Night headed to their VIP seats. Haruka came backstage with me.

"I can't believe you are doing your first concert!" Haruka said.

"I can't believe it either, Haruka," I replied.

"I'll be waiting for you after the show, OK?" she said. "I can't wait to listen to your new songs."

"Thank you! See you!" I called as she headed to her seat. I breathed in and out. I can do this. I walked onto stage. The curtains were still up and I was just waiting for Shining to introduce me.

I was singing the new song and was having so much fun. It had such a fun rhythm to it. The dance was fun too. I had a smile on my face for the whole thing. I finished this song and stood in a pose waiting for the audiences applause. Then the music for the next song started.

(I don't own this song either. Pretend it is only one person again.)

After this song, I sang a couple other songs, and the concert had ended.

"Thank you all for coming to my concert tonight! Thank you for all of your support!" I called to the crowd. Then, I left the stage. Haruka greeted me backstage.

"That was a phenomenal concert, Mei!" she complimented.

"Thank you, Haruka!" I thanked. Then, Starish and Quartet Night appeared.

"Mei-Mei, you did amazing!" Rei-nii cried.

"Who knew you could be so much fun?" Kurosaki-senpai commented.

"Are you implying I can't be fun, Kurosaki-senpai?" I asked.

"No, I'm not implying it, I'm saying it," he replied.

"You're so mean," I pouted.

"Stop acting like your brother," he shouted. I started laughing.

"I didn't know you could rap," Syo remarked.

"Well, I discovered a new thing for my music," I replied.

"You looked so cute upstage!" Natsuki cried.

"Thank you!" I thanked him. I just remembered that the Sohma family was here. "I will be back. I have to go find someone."

I walked through the crowd. I don't know where they could be. It could be very dangerous for them in these crowds of girls. I remembered that they might have to wait until everyone leaves for precaution. I walked back into the concert hall. I spotted Yuki.

"Hey Yuki!" I called. They turned around.

"Hey Mei!" Tohru called. I walked over to them.

"How did you guys like the concert?" I asked.

"It was very delightful. Thank you for inviting us," Yuki thanked.

"No problem, it was my thank you present for taking me in that night," I replied. I looked around to see unfamiliar faces. "Who are you?"

"Those are our other cousins,"Yuki answered. "Let me introduce you to them."

I was watching from the doorway of the concert hall. It has been a long time since I have seen you. I finally found you again. I see you again my daughter.
