Mei's POV

I am really happy. I finally figured out what kind of music I wrote and I had written my first song since the accident. Today I was going to go and record it. Rei-nii insisted on taking me there since he wanted me to be safe. So I was waiting for him to get ready to go. Rei-nii finally walked into the waiting room.

"Ready to go, Mei?" he asked. I nodded and we headed out of the door. We walked hand in hand with each other. I feel way more comfortable around him now. Everyone had told me that we were really close before the accident, but I had been really iffy on it. I wasn't really sure because all the memories I had had of him before weren't the happiest, but now I fell just fine around him.

We walk to the recording studio together. We walked quietly, but it was peaceful. We finally arrived at the recording studio. Rei-nii and I looked at each other and walked in. The two of us headed to the recording booth I was recording in. I introduced myself to the man directing the process and I walked into the booth. The music began playing and I began singing.

"Stop, stop!" The man called. I stopped.

"What is wrong, sir?" I asked.

"I need you to put your heart into it," he replied. I was confused, but I nodded. We started again and he stopped me again. We did this a couple of more times. He seemed to get more frustrated every time.

"You know what? I think we should just wait a little while longer," he suggested. "Let's not have background voices on the concert. Instead let's just wait and you can sing live on your concert later this week." I nodded. I felt really bad about ruining the recording, but I guess I'll be singing without backup voices this weekend. I was really nervous because this concert is supposed to determine my future as an idol. I hope that I regain my memories by then. This is going to be a long week.
