Mei's POV
Rei-nii has been very protective about me ever since I got lost in the forest the other day. He insists on walking me to and from work everyday. I can't really blame him, I do get distracted easily. Right now, I was waiting for Rei-nii to finished up his interview and then we can head home.
"Are you ready to go?" Rei-nii asked.
"Yes, let's go home," I replied. We put on our disguises and started on the walk back to the dorms. I was happy that Rei-nii and I were becoming closer as siblings. I had never had this before. Now, I finally get part of my family. All I have to do is get father to hear me as well.
Rei-nii and I were walking and holding hands with each other. If people didn't know we were siblings, then they might've mistaken us for a couple. I laughed at the thought.
"What is so funny?" nii-san asked.
"I just thought about how much we look like a couple," I replied.
"I guess we do don't we," Rei-nii chuckled. We kept walking, but I had a feeling someone was watching me again. Just like that day that I got lost in the forest. Why do I keep getting this feeling? I pondered.
Rei-nii and I made it to the front door of the Master Course. We went in and saw that Kurosaki-senpai was standing at the door.
"Hi Kurosaki-senpai!" I greeted. Rei-nii did the same.
"Hey! The president wants to see you," he muttered.
"Which one of us?" I asked.
"You," he answered.
"OK then," I said, happily skipping towards Shining's office. "See you later, Rei-nii!" I got to Shining's office and walked in. I didn't really bother to knock anymore.
"Hellooo Miss Kotobuki!" the president greeted.
"Hi Mr. President!" I replied. "You wanted to see me!"
"Yes! I did! I wanted to tell you some great news!" Shining cried.
"What is it?" I asked.
"I have decided that you will be having a concert soon!" he announced.
"Are you serious!?!" I asked shocked.
"Of course! When I am I not serious?!?" he cried. I beg to differ, Mr. President.
"When will the concert be held?" I questioned.
"It will be taking place next week!" the president answered.
"So soon!" I cried.
"Yes, be ready with your costume, dance, and songs by the end of this week!" Shining ordered.
"OK," I replied. I walked out of the room. I was ecstatic. It is my first concert as a professional! I couldn't wait to tell the others! I skipped to the main room. Everyone was already there all concentrated on their own conversations.
"Hi everyone!" I greeted.
"Hi Mei/Mei-chan/Mei-Mei!"
"Guess what?" I asked everyone.
"What is it Mei?" Haruka asked.
"Shining told me that I will be having a concert next week!" I announced happily.
"That is great, Mei!!" Haruka cried.
"Mei-chan that is amazing!" Natsuki said happily.
"Congratulations!" Tokiya congratulated. Masato nodded.
"Mei-Mei is growing up!" Rei-nii cried.
"The little butterfly may be a pretty good rival," Ren commented. I stuck my tongue out at him.
"What do you mean may be?" I asked. I then noticed someone I hadn't seen before. "Who is this?"
"Oh, Mei-chan you haven't met Cecil yet," Natsuki cried. "Mei this is Aijima Cecil and Cecil this is Kotobuki Mei."
"Nice to meet you," I bowed.
"You as well, I can tell that the muses live in your music," he said.
"Thank you," I replied. "Is there something you would like to have for dinner tonight?"
"Just cook whatever," Kurosaki-senpai replied. "And make a lot of it."
I nodded my head. "I got it."
I headed to the kitchen to make rice with fried fish. Also I made some a pot of miso soup with another plate of pickled vegetables. I also decided to make some dessert as well. I met Cecil's senpai Camus-senpai today and learned that he had a huge sweet tooth, so I made a whole bunch of dessert. I made some funnel cake, apple pie, caramel chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream and caramel drizzle, and peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies. I was finally satisfied and called everyone for dinner. "Time for dinner!" I called.
Everyone came rushing in. I set the food down on the table and everyone began eating. I sat down, but didn't really eat much. I wasn't very hungry. When you make a whole bunch of food, you don't really want to eat it yourself. Everyone finally finished dinner and I brought out the dessert.
"You made so much, Mei-chan!" Natsuki cried.
"This is delicious," Syo complemented. "Maybe you could teach Natsuki how to bake."
"I don't think Natsuki could be that bad, could he?" I asked. All of Starish turned pale. Maybe he was that bad. After the guys completely devoured the dessert, I got up to get the dishes, but a hand stopped me. I looked up at Rei-nii.
"You cooked all of this for us, so we should repay the favor and do the dishes," he said.
"But..."
"No buts, Mei, you made us amazing food, so we should do something too," Haruka insisted.
"If you insist..." I headed to my room knowing that I couldn't win the fight. I started to think about the dance and songs I was going to do for my concert. This was going to be a lot of fun.
