"Holy crap." Jon stared at the computer screen in disbelief. "Ryan you need to see this."

Ryan leaned over Jon's shoulder. "Is that-"

"BL/ind's emails." Jon finished. "I hacked into their server. And you're not gonna believe this." He used the computer mouse to bold a section of a particular email.

Ryan's eyes quickly scanned the highlighted region. "They're planning to drug the city."

"They're going to make L.A. a bunch of mindless drones." Jon reiterated.

"Mind control." Ryan bit his bottom lip. "That's some creepy shit."

Jon pushed his chair back. "We have to tell someone, Brendon or Patrick."

Ryan shook his head. "We're gonna need more information first."

"What more evidence and information do we need?" Jon gestured to his computer dramatically. "I have their emails."

Ryan slammed Jon's laptop shut.

"Hey!" Jon protested.

"The Killjoys." Ryan blurted. "We need to talk to them."

Jon shook his head wildly. "Are you insane?" He hissed. "If we talk to them and Brendon finds out, he will kill us."

"He doesn't need to know." Ryan insisted. "And besides, what's worse, Brendon killing us, or an entire city of zombies?"

Jon pondered the question.

"We just need to find out why they're fighting BL/ind and then we can tell Brendon." Ryan convinced Jon. "One meeting."

Jon bit his bottom lip. "One meeting?"

"That's it." Ryan pleaded.

Jon nodded slowly, giving in. "Fine, just one."

.......

Frank sulked into the bedroom he and Gerard shared and flopped onto the bed.

Gerard poked his head into the room. "There you are." He walked out of the attached bathroom, a towel in his hand.

"Here I am." He replied, his voice muffled by the pillows he had buried his face into.

"Are you still mad at me?" Gerard dried his hair with the towel.

Frank just sighed.

Gerard tossed the towel into the hamper and sat on the bed beside Frank. "You know I'm right." Gerard said quietly. "It wouldn't be a smart move to demand payment in blood for an incident that happened three years ago."

Frank sat up quickly. "So we just let them get away with this?"

Gerard rolled his eyes. "Frank we don't even know the whole story."

He and Frank had been having this exact conversation once a day for the past week. It was the same every time; Frank would gripe about how they should do something to avenge Ray's brother and every night, Gerard would come up with a logical explanation for why killing Patrick Stump was a bad idea.

The conversation usually ended with a rather harsh silent treatment from Frank and tears from Gerard.

"We shouldn't even need to know the whole story." Frank protested. "They killed one of our own. We can't just let them get away with something like that."
