//Katniss' POV//

That bitch got me mad. I've never ever almost stabbed someone before. But that bitch pushed me over the edge. She better be lucky Peeta was there to save her ass, cause next time he won't be there to save the day.

Peeta Mellark. I already knew everything about him. Don't believe me? I know everything down to his favorite scent. Polo Black.

He was on my mind ever since I ran into him that day, he seemed like the only one that was actually interested in talking to me. Everyone else was either too scared or stuck up to at least say hi.

But it's whatever, I honestly don't even give two shits about anyone in this school anyways. I'll live if I don't get a wave in the hallway.

I adjusted my hat a little so it shaded my eyes. When it was just right, I left out of the bathroom.

I couldn't leave the school, my mother would kill me if I came home earlier than I should've. So I had to pull it together for the rest of the day.

Just walk, keep your head down. I thought to myself.

I breathed in deeply and swung open the door. The heels of my boots clanked against the floor loudly and I felt the intense stares of eyes just burning into my back, but I didn't dare look up.

I could just barely make out the whispers that were being shared.

"Psychotic bitch,"

Was the one that stood out most. I glanced up in the voice's direction and I  got a glimpse of Delly Cartwright. We used to be friends a while back, but she always thought I was crazy so she got scared and just stopped talking to me.

I swiftly turned the corner, and I tensed up as I heard a familiar voice call out my name.

"Katniss!" I looked up and saw Peeta again.

I kept walking like I couldn't hear him.

"Katniss, wait up!" He shouted out again.

He was right next to me.

"I know you heard me calling you." He said, giggling a bit.

"Why do bother talking to me?" I stopped on my tracks, looking into his deep blue eyes.

He looked a little caught off guard.

"Well, if I'm honest, you kinda intrigue me. It's just something about you that's makes me wanna talk to you," Peeta said, awkwardly scratching the back of his neck.

I smirked at knowing that he found me interesting.

I reached in my pocket for a gum wrapper and grabbed the pencil from behind my ear. I scribbled down my number and shoved it into his hand.

"Call me when you think about me," I grinned, walking back down the hallway.
