Mika and Emily

Where's Emily?

Mika’s POV

                I was so psyched for the show to start. I was hoping all over the place backstage. I was wearing a whit button-up shirt and black pants. I hoped Emily would like what I was wearing. I wanted to see her again. “I wanna know when I’ll see you again.” I was singing as I started to jump up and down. I had no idea why I was so excited to see her. I decided to walk towards the back door where Eric would be stationed for the night.  I was just about to open the door when the door was opened for me. A girl appeared in the doorway but it was not Emily. “Who are you? Where’s Emily?” I asked her.

 She gave me a warm smile and flipped her hair. “Emily’s not here. She didn’t want to come so she gave her ticket to me.”

 What? She… didn’t want to come? I then stepped outside to see Eric playing on his phone

 “Eric?! I specifically told ONLY to let Emily in here! WHO is that girl?” Eric was shocked because I’ve never gotten mad at him like that before.

“W-well Emily came with her and told me that she didn’t want to come so she allowed her friend to have her ticket instead.” Eric said.

 No. I thought she liked me. At least I hope she liked me. But I guess not. She even kissed me. What was going on?

“Okay I apologize, Eric. Thank you.” I came back inside and the girl lit up. “Hi!” she said.

“What’s your name?” She flipped her red hair again and said

 “Mallory.” she batted her eyelashes at me.

“Well Mallory…… You’ll be going now. My show is starting.” She smiled and put her hand on my shoulder and kissed my cheek

“Okay gorgeous. Good luck” GROSS! What the hell was that? I just met her not even two minutes ago. Ugh. I started to jog over to the stage and a security guard led Mallory out to the audience. I sang every note without even hearing myself. I still couldn’t stop thinking about Emily.
