"Yes, Eva the date went well."

I was on the phone with Eva as her voice was filled with concerns as to whether or not the details of my date went well or not.

Despite my reassurances, she still seemed worried.

"What happens if she dumps you mid way?"

"Well, we aren't official yet, though I did bring her a few flowers for our second date." That night Lily had called me, asking if I wanted to go to the theatres, which I politely accepted.

"Seriously, you're on another level."

I laughed at Eva's approval, "thanks, Eva. I hope she likes me."

"Are you kidding? Who wouldn't like you?!"

"Thanks for psyching me up, but before my date I'm dropping off this phone to a girl."

"Where did you find it?"

I began walking to the student life centre, near the front desk, "ah, yeah well when I was at the café with Lily, a girl behind me forgot her phone."

"Oh, that's funny. Well, Dean and I are thinking of hittin' up Beanier's Pub tonight, do you want to come? I want you to meet one of my friends I met in class, I think she'll be cool addition to our squad."

"Really now? Remember the last time you thought one of your friends was a good addition to the squad?"

She murmured it into my ears and I could barely hold in my laughter, "my friend and you ended up dating and she broke up with you because she fell for another guy."

"Thank you for the summary Eva."

"Hey you asked!"

"It's a trend in my life, I'm starting to feel immune to it."

"That's concerning."

"Can't do much about it."

"Well this time it's different!!"

I scanned the room to find someone that would like an Emilia that likes to be called Emi, but it seemed harder than necessary.

"Why?" I asked, half-listening to Eva.

"Well, I set her up with someone else recently, and since you have another girl in your mind you guys won't be interested in each other. C'mon it'll be fun. She's a real talker."

"Funny, I met someone that talks quite a lot, despite talking to her for only ten minutes."

Just then, I heard Emi's phone vibrate in my pocket.

"Ah, Eva, I got to go. The owner of the phone is calling me." I didn't know what else Eva had to say as I hung up and picked up Emi's phone.

"Hey, Evans that likes to be called Evans."

"Where are you?" I asked scanning the room.

"I borrowed my friend's phone but I'll be here in a second. Are you the guy in the blue shirt and beanie?"

"Yes, I am." I looked around to see a girl running towards me. She was wearing a summery dress, with little frills near the end. Her black wavy hair caught my attention with her vibrant grin.

"Hey!"

I couldn't help but smile, "Hey, Emilia that likes to be called Emi."

She pouted. Pouted. She lunged a smack on my back and I internally masked the pain.
