"Oh Parker." My grandma cries as she takes me into a hug. Kian has no choice but to let me go, and I look at him giving him a smile to say it's okay. I hug her back as tears leave my eyes and I hide my face in the crook of her neck. I feel my grandpa join the hug, and lose control as I start sobbing.
"Princess, we thought we would never see you again." My grandpa says in my ear. We pull apart, and they take me in. I'm wearing yoga pants with one of Kian's big tee shirts, but that doesn't hide my four month pregnant stomach. They furrow their eyebrows before looking to each other then back to me. I step back to Kian's side and he wraps an arm around me.
"Grandma, grandpa... This is Kian my boyfriend. And we are h-" My grandma starts crying shaking her head.
"Please don't say what I think you are." She cries out, and I look to Kian scared. He kisses the top of my head, and I look back to my grandparents.
"We are having a daughter." I say as confidently as I can.
"This happened to her mother, and now her." My grandma cries. I look at her confused.
"Mom didn't have Luke as a teen." I say confused. My grandparents look to each other wiping tears before looking back to me.
"Parker, dear, why don't you sit down." Nancy says. I look to her nodding my head. I get out of Kian's hold taking his hand and leading him to the couch. My grandparents sit across from us, while Nancy sits on the chair that is in the middle.
"What's going on?" I ask looking at my grandparents, but holding Kian's hand tightly. My grandpa sighs before he opens his mouth to speak.
"We are your blood related family. Your parents and brother you grew up with, they weren't." He says trying to be lightly. My heart shatters as tears just fall from my eyes. I look down to Kian and I's hands as I feel like I'm crumbling. Is my whole life a lie?
"We had her later as she was our last child. At sixteen she fell pregnant with you. She was scared especially after your father told her to get rid of it." My grandma says.
"We tried to be supportive for her, but it was hard. She started looking into adoption, which we were supportive of. We were okay with whatever she wanted." I look up to her as she continues.
"She got in contact with a couple, who had a son and wanted a little girl, but couldn't have another. We met them and they were wonderful people, and they were the parents that raised you." She smile before tears leak from her eyes and I try to wipe mine.
"A week before you were suppose to be born there was an accident. Your mother was rushed to the hospital, but they couldn't save her. They delivered you and called us. We called the couple that was going to adopt you, and they rushed to the hospital." My grandpa says.
"We couldn't just let you go and never see you again, so we talked to your parents. They agreed to let us in your life, and we couldn't have been happier about that. And as you grew we could see your mother, our daughter, in you." My grandma adds smiling.
"When we heard about the accident your aunt told us that no one made it. We were heartbroken and couldn't stay back home if you weren't there. We moved out here and then our son told us you weren't dead. He and our other daughter were trying to find you for us."
"Princess, is it true? You went mute for a year, and ate on and off?" She asks tears pooling her eyes. I slowly nod my head as Kian squeezes my hand.
"Kian got me talking, and never let me go back in that deep hole." I say looking up to Kian, who gives me a small smile before kissing my temple.
"How long have you guys been together?" My grandpa asks. I look to him smiling.
"About ten months?" I say more as a question looking to Kian. "Maybe more like a year." I say. "Wait. So the parents I grew up with aren't my real parents?" I ask.
"No they weren't. But they raised you better than we could have imagined." My grandma says smiling as she wipes her tears. I turn to Nancy, who is watching me cautiously.
"Does Leah know?" I ask, and as soon as those words leave my mouth Leah and Jc walk through the door. We all look to see them smiling as they walk in, with Leah resting a hand on her stomach. They stop suddenly taking in everyone in the room.
"Um... Parker, Nancy what's going on?" She asks.
"Leah, these are my grandparents. From my biological mother." I say looking right into Leah's eyes.
"What?" Leah asks confused. Jc wraps his arm around her pulling her close to his side. "What do you mean? We aren't family?" She asks tears pooling her eyes. I stand up and take cautious steps towards her.
"Leah, we will always be family. It doesn't matter if it's by blood or not." I say standing in front of her. She gets out of Jc's hold and hugs me tight, as tight as she can.

~Leah's point of view~
I wake up next to Jc with the sun in my eyes. I watch him as he still sleeps peacefully. I carefully get out of bed to not wake Jc, and head out of the room. I head downstairs and sit at the kitchen island, where Nancy is sitting sipping a cup of coffee. I sit next to her, and she smiles at me. "Good morning. Isn't it early for you?" She asks amused. I nod my head sighing.
"Yeah, but there is a lot on my mind." I say. Nancy frowns at me as she gives me her full attention.
"What's wrong?"
"This whole thing with Parker's grandparents... Why didn't my parents tell the truth?"
"I don't know. What I do know is your parents are cruel people. They didn't care for the children under their care as they should have. But don't stress too much, it isn't good for you or your son."
"I know, but Parker isn't even my family like I thought she was." I say feeling tears pool my eyes.
"Leah," Nancy says putting a hand on mine. "She has always been your cousin, your family. It doesn't matter if it's by blood or not, and she probably feels the same way. She is just as confused and hurt by this as you may feel, if not more." Nancy says gently. I nod my head understanding.
"Leah?" I hear a voice behind me. I look to see Parker standing there tears in her eyes. "Is that really what you think? You think I betrayed you?" She asks hurt. I shake my head standing up walking to her.
"No Parker. That's not what I said at all. If anyone my parents betrayed us." I say hugging her. She hugs me back nodding her head slightly as she sniffles. "How about we do something today, you know just the two of us? And maybe Nancy." I offer.
"That would be fun." Parker says stepping back. "Nancy want to go out with us today?" Parker asks.
"Sure, where should we go? Maternity clothes shopping?" She asks.
"Sounds good." Parker says. I nod my head smiling, and just then the guys come down.
