"What the hell!" I scream pushing her and the man apart I walk over to my terrified mother "what the hell was that that depression was just a fake your real reason was because you didn't love us is this what u did when we were out I bet you don't have a job at the hospital because no one is stupid enough to hire you!" I spit in her face
"Katniss this is Plutarch your soon to be dad" she says shaking ignoring my comment. I turn around and stomp upstairs and grab a suitcase from my closet and chuck all my clothes and make up etc. in it and zip it shut.
"Katniss what are you doing?" Peeta says leaning on the doorframe to
my bedroom. I grab my case and wheel it out of the room he follows me.
"Katniss what are you doing WHERE are you going" my 'mother' screeches
"anywhere but here" I scoff and walk out the door Peeta behind me
"Katniss where are you going to stay?" I shrug then remember a house near the lake my dad showed me and begin towards the fence. he follows me to the lake house
"Its nice here" he compliments
"Thanks you could stay here too if you want" I smile. He smiles back and nods.
"I think my mum is moving back in the bakery anyway" he shrugs
"OK get your stuff after school come on we have to do duets today!" I say nervously he grabs my hand and takes me back to school. Music is just starting so we weren't late.
"OK class I hope you have your duets ready OK ummm Cato you and your partner first" Effie shrills Cato gets up pulling Glimmer with him. He starts strumming the guitar as she struts around singing. It's hilarious because she sounds like a dying cat. They sing how ya doin by little mix. Next is Madge and Marvel? What the... they sing Sight of you by Tulisa. Its beautiful but I can't get over the fact Madge is with Marvel of all People.
"Katniss you and your partner" Effie screams happily I grab Peetas hand and Lead him up the steps to the small stage he plays piano while I strum the guitar.
