KATNISS POV:
"NO NO YOU CANT! YOU CANT MARRY HIM YOU DON'T LOVE HIM!" He shouts coming closer to me. What does he mean I don't love him? Of course I love Peeta! With all my heart!
"Excuse me?" I say as calmly as I can but i can feel the rage boiling up inside of me.
"You cannot marry him"
"Why not?"
"Because I love you" He stares into my eyes. I see Annie has gone. I dont know where. Maybe upstairs.
"Thats a lie" I state breaking eye contact
"Its not and I can't let you marry someone you don't love" His voice becomes calm and soothing
"Problem Is I do love Peeta! Sorry but not sorry! If you think there is one inch of me that doesnt you are mistaken! I thought you were my friend how dare you come in here and tell me how I feel! And if you did love me you would want whats best for me" I scream pushing him back.
"You THINK you love him but you know you dont" He says his face flushing red. What happens next is shocking. He punches me round the face. I fall to the ground wimpering. He kicks me in the stomach continuasly. I thought he was my friend? Why is he doing this to me? "Have fun at your wedding!" Is the last thing i hear before I pass out.
PEETA'S POV:
I hear screaming from downstairs.Katniss and someone I can't quite figure out. I then hear thuds coming up the stairs.
"FINNICK PEETA!" Its Annie. I step out of the room.
"Annie whats the matter?" Finnick asks going over to her
"Katniss, Gale is here and he found out about the engagement and he isnt happy" SHe pants
"Wait woah woah woah back up" Finnick says turning towards me "Your engaged?" I nod enthusiastcally "Awh Congrats mate" He smiles.
"HEY!" Annie yells.
"Did you know its rude to inturrupt a conversation?" Finnick laughs
"NOT WHEN KATNISS IS IN TROUBLE!" She yells.
"Oh yeah that" Finnick trails off. I rush down the stairs to find a bloody Katniss. I rush over to her tears slipping out my eyes
"Katniss?" I whisper. There is no reply "Katniss!?" I shake her but she doesnt respond "Katniss stay with me!" I yell. I hear Finnick and Annie coming down the stairs
"WHAT HAPPENED?" Finnick yells.
"I have a feeling it was Gale" She points out.
"But Gale is our friend" Finnick argues.
"He was our friend" She throws back
"GUYS WE NEED TO GET HER TO THE HOSPITAL!" I scream inturrupting thier argument
*AT THE HOSPITAL*
I sit there with my leg shaking uncontrollably. I see a doctor in a bright white coat exit a room.
"MR MELLARK?" He calls, clipboard in hand. I stand up and walk over to him
"I have news On Miss Everdeen" I nod for him to go on "She was kicked quite hard in the stomach and punched in the face, unfortunatly we cannot wake her up, She should have woken up but she wont if she doesnt wake up in the next 12 hours she will never wake up"
