-Luke's POV-

"Shut up Luke. I have way more balls than you." Michael laughed.

"Guys just shut up." Calum said.

"You wish." I rolled my eyes, both of us ignoring Calum.

"Prove it." Michael challenged.

"And how do you expect me to do that?" I questioned, popping a grape into my mouth.

"Next period, you've gotta talk to Ashton Irwin." Michael dared.

I smiled.

"Okay." I accepted.

Nobody liked Ashton. He was bullied, because he was weird.

He was an emo, lonely weirdo. He preferred to be alone, and he didn't date anybody.

We often caught him staring at the three of us, and we wondered what he wanted.

He wasn't ugly, not at all.

He was actually attractive, but he was just weird.

He always had his headphones in, blasting some weird emo music.

He was an absolute outcast.

When we got into geography, I sat next to Ashton in the back.

Calum and Michael sat by me as well, to make sure I went through with their dare.

Halfway through class, I turned to the strange boy.

The teacher wouldn't allow him to have headphones in his class, so I could easily get his attention.
"Hi, Ashton." I greeted him.

He looked at me and faked a smile.

"Hi." He quietly said.

A few people were staring at me in shock.

"How have you been?" I wondered.

He shrugged, looking back at his work.

I turned to Mike and Calum and they looked surprised.

I shrugged and continued doing my work as well.
