-Ashton's POV-

I sat down in class and waited for Luke to get to class. While I waited, I doodled on a page in my notebook.

"Hey, Ash." I heard Luke's voice as he sat in the desk next to mine.

I adjusted the sleeve of my black hoodie and smiled at him.

"Hey." I responded.

"How was your weekend?" He wondered.

"It was alright. Yours?" I questioned.

"Same."

"Hey, I wanted to ask you something." He stated.

"Okay."

"Do you wanna maybe like, go out?" He asked me.

I smiled and excitement rushed through my entire body.

"Wait, are you being serious?" I questioned in disbelief.

"Yes." He beamed.

"Sure." I accepted.

He smiled and the bell rang, begining the class.

"Where are your friends?" I wondered, and he shrugged.

When I got home, I collapsed onto my bed and began thinking about the day.

"You're dating that!?" A girl exclaimed when Luke was holding my hand in the hallway.

Luke just rolled his eyes and continue to walk with me to our next class.

" What will Michael and Calum say?" I worried.

"They won't care. They  don't have anything against you or anything." He shrugged.

As I laid there, I couldn't stop thinking about the way Luke's hand felt when his fingers were laced with mine, or his cute little smile, or his lip ring, or him in general.

Even after I started my music, and began my homework, he was still in my mind. The feeling he gave me was so indescribable. He made me happy, in a way that nobody else did. It was sort of like butterflies, but it was different. And when I thought about him holding my hand, or when I caught his eyes and we held eye contact for a few seconds, or his laugh, I would blush a bit and smile.

"Ash, Greg and I want to do a family dinner night. So get ready, we're meeting him at 6:30." My mom informed me when I walked out of my room.

"Okay." I agreed.

I changed my shirt and jacket to a navy blue sweater, and fixed my hair. We still had an hour until we were meeting him, but my mom preferred to be early to things, so I only really had about thirty minutes.

"Ashton?" My little sister asked as she entered my room.

"Yeah?" I questioned.

"Which outfit should I wear?" She wondered.

I studied both of the outfits she had presented before choosing the one with light blue skinny jeans, a dark purple tank top, and a black leather jacket.

She smiled and hugged me.

"Thank you." She said.

"No problem." I replied.

"Is Harry getting ready?" I checked.

"Yeah." She responded before walking out.

I quickly brushed my teeth and put on some socks and shoes.

I'd rather do anything else with the family than dinner, since I was usually pretty awkward. Greg was a good guy, he was really cool. It wasn't weird with him or anyone within my family. It was more like the other people, the strangers and especially the waiters and waitresses.

"Are you guys ready!?" My mom called.

We all gathered in the living room before we left.

We got to the restaurant, a nice looking Italian one, at about 6:15.

"Greg will be here soon." My mom informed us.

When he got there, we all walked in together.

"That went well." My mom said as we drove home.

"Yeah." We all agreed.

While we were eating, Greg and my mom decided to inform us that they were now engaged. Greg had proposed a few days before, and they were going to start making wedding plans soon.

My siblings and I were happy about it; we all liked Greg. Honestly, I just hoped that they didn't have a baby. We didn't really need any more babies.

Greg was going to be moving in soon, since we didn't want to switch schools.

"Are you okay, Ashton?" My mom checked.

"Yeah, just thinking." I stated.

"About what? Your boyfriend?" She asked. I had told them about Luke during dinner.

"Yeah." I laughed.
