"I would be a bad ass dragon, fuck you guys!" Ashton exclaimed when we told him that he would be a pretty rainbow dragon that puffs flitter instead of fire.

We laughed.

Suddenly, there was a knock on my door and I quickly opened it to see Michael.

"I need to talk to Calum." He said.

"What makes you think he's here?" I demanded.

"He isn't at his house." He shrugged.

"Please just let me talk to him." He added.

"Whatever. Come in." I said.

Michael was one of my best friends, but I was mad at him. He hurt one of my other best friends.

"Calum, I love you." Michael said.

Cal rolled his eyes.

"I do. I love you so fucking much. I bought a pregnancy test at the store, and she's going to take it. I'm not even with her, Calum. I wasn't earlier. As soon as I talked to her, I ended it. But if she's pregnant, I'm going to be there for the baby." He explained.

Calum had tears forming in his eyes and I wanted to comfort him so bad.

"Then why didn't you say that earlier? Instead, you told me that you didn't want to leave her and that you wanted to keep a strong relationship!" Calum exclaimed.

A few tears had left his eyes by now, and his face was a little red.
"Because I needed to think about things. I couldn't tell you that I wanted to be with you and I as ready and everything if one, I didn't know if she was pregnant and how you would feel about that, and two, I had to stay with her or something. I couldn't lead you on and hurt you like that!" Michael responded.

It got quiet for a minute before Calum sniffled.

"But you did hurt me." He stated quietly.

Michael looked legitimately hurt as he looked down.

"I didn't want to hurt you worse." He replied.

"You could've just explained the situation, Michael! You lied to me." Calum almost yelled, and he was sobbing at this point.

Michael sat next to him on the couch, and pulled Calum into his lap. Cal didn't struggle or complain, but simply sobbed into his shirt instead.

Michael soothingly rubbed his back and stayed quiet for a minute. Then he kissed the top of his head and Calum pressed himself closer into Michael's chest.

"I love you, Calum." Michael stated.

Calum said nothing, but continued to cry. It was painful to see, as he was my best friend.

Ashton cuddled into my side and I laced our fingers together, wrapping my arm around him protectively. I never wanted to see him hurt like this.

"Michael continued to rub Calum's back until he calmed down, but he still cuddled up to Michael's chest, his face buried.

"Mike?" He asked, his voice muffled.

"Yes?"

"I love you." Calum said.

"I love you too. Look at me." Michael responded, and Calum looked at him.

"I promise I love you so so much. I'm sorry that I hurt you. I want to be with you. So bad." Michael said. Calum placed the side of his head against Michael's chest.

"I want to be with you, too." Calum replied.

"But what if she's pregnant? Are you going to stay with her?" He added in wonder.

I kissed Ashton's cheek.

"No. But I don't know if you'll want to be with me if she is." Mike replied.

"Of course I do. I always do." Calum stated.

Mike smiled, and Calum returned the gesture.

Michael slowly and cautiously pressed his lips against Calum's, and Calum pressed them closer together. When Mike pulled away, he picked Calum up and stood up.

Cal stood on the ground.

"I have to go give this to Ally. I'll see you soon. Do you want me to come pick you up?" Mike asked him.

Calum nodded.

"Good luck." He smiled, and Michael kissed his forehead before leaving.

Calum looked at us and smiled.

"I'm so happy for you." I told him. Ashton nodded in agreement.

"Thank you guys." He grinned.

-Ashton's POV-

My phone rang and I answered, seeing that it was Michael.

"Mike?" I asked.

"Ash! Hey. What's Calum's favorite type of flower?" He asked me.

I didn't know.

I looked at Luke, who luckily had heard what Michael asked.

"Roses." He mouthed, while Calum was oblivious as he kept talking.

"Roses." I informed Mike.

"Alright. Thanks, dude." He said before hanging up.

"Is everything okay?" Calum wondered.

I nodded.

"Good."

It was quiet for a minute before Luke cleared his throat.

"What time is it?" He questioned.

"Five." I replied.

"That means there are two hours until my parents get home." He sighed.

"Should I leave?" I offered.

"Nah, I'm gonna ask if you can stay the night. If you want to, of course." He stated.

I smiled.

"Yeah."

"What will your mom say?" He questioned.

"I don't know, I'll call her." I said, grabbing my phone and walking into Luke's room. The sheets had been changed and the room was a little tidier than usual.

It rang twice before my mother answered.

"Hello?" She asked.

"Hey. Luke wants to know if I can stay the night over here." I informed her.

"That's fine with me. Use a condom if anything happens." She reminded me.

Too late.

I laughed a little.

"Alright, mom. Love you." I told her.

"I love you too." She responded.

"She said yes!" I exclaimed as I got back in the living room, and realized that Luke was on the phone.

"He's seeing if the three of us can stay. Me, you, and Mike." Calum quietly informed me. I nodded.

"Alright, mom... Okay... Thank you... Of course!... I will... Okay, we'll go soon... I love you too... Bye..." He hung up.

"She said yes and she wants us to go to the store and get snacks and stuff." He informed us.

The doorbell rang and I answered it.

I opened the door to see Michael, and that he was upset. He handed a large bundle of red roses to Calum, and kissed him.

"What's wrong?" Calum asked him.

"Can I talk to you?" Michael asked him, and Cal nodded.

Michael pulled him outside and closed the door.
