chapter 6 .

Skyee's POV

I've officially been here a month, its been the best time of my life, well, the law itself and the classes are a pain in the arse I'd rather just be hanging around with Dan, I was getting worried though, we'd be in his room or my room and we'd mess around and when things started to get a bit heated I'd have to pull away, I really like Dan, but I know he's had lots of girlfriends, and I don't want to sleep with him, and him end up leaving me cause he's gotten what he wanted, and I'm a bit nervious, because , yeah, you guessed it , I'm a virgin. I want my first time to be special, and I haven't even told Dan I love him or anything, because well, I don't . Well, that's what I keep telling myself, its getting harder to say though "I don't love Dan" because, well, I'm with him all the time, and when  I'm not with him, I'm thinking of him, or thinking of the next time we're going to see eachother . Well, no, I don't love him, I've known him a month, people can't fall in love in a month. Sometimes it takes years to love. But some have the love at first sight thing thing, well, the first time I met Dan I hit his head with a door, so, I definitely knew it wasnt love at first sight for him. It was morr of a "this crazy bitch just smashed my face in with a door" moment for him. I look back on it now, and I think it's hilarious that's how we met. Great one to tell the kids.Why the hell am i thinking about kids? My thoughts were interupted as I heard a knock at the door. I wonder who that could be this fine friday evening?..well, I didnt have many options it was Dan or Sue , the lady who showed me my room at the beggining of my semester, I opened my door. And no, it wasnt Dan, or Sue! I screamed! and without a second thoughy i flung my arms around my "guest". It was Shannon. I pulled her in my tiny room and slammed the door.

"I can't believe you're here, why are you here may I ask?"

"well, I wanted to surprise you for you're birthd-" she got cut off

Dan barged in my room swinging open the door,

"Skyee, are you okay?!"

"Dan, what the hell?!"

"I heard you scream, and I thought you'd hurt yourself or something"

"no, you goon" I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around his waist giving him a hug,  quickly pulling away.

"my bestfriend Shannon has come to visit and I havent seen her in months, see, she went to do a corse in ireland a few months before I came here, and well, I haven't seen her since"

Shannon stood up from the bed and eyed Dan up and down

"So you're this famous Dan I haven't stop hearing about?"she interrogated him

Dan gave me a look, "haven't stoped talking about me , hrm?" he said nudging me "tell me more" he beamed, resting his head on his hands . Before I was pushing him out of my room, "I'm so sorry you can't stay any longer Dan, girl talk is needed, bye! " I laughed as I gave him a final shove out the door and slammed it behind him,

"as you were saying" I beamed at Shannon

"well, I wanted to visit you for you're birthday, I couldn't miss it for the world, so I took a week off from my course and I go back next sunday, and I wanted to surprise you, so I got in contact with Dan, and he sorted out a room for me to stay in across the hall"-she got cut off once again

"wait, Dan knew you were coming?"

"yeah, it was his idea for me to come and see you,well,  it's not like i didn't want to come see you but he's the one that thought of it , and im glad im here for you're birthday, so I booked the quickest ferrie and here I am"

"Dan is so awesome, I can't believe he would do something like this for me, Shannon?" I asked as I fiddled with my hands "do you think its too soon to tell him I love him?, I mean we're only been going out for a month, and well, I think he wants to take the next step and well...you know..."

"are you sure you love him?"

"no, bu-"

"Skyee, if you're not sure, I wouldn't " Shannon butted in , " don't say it because you feel the need to say it, you should say it if you feel it, corny i know, but Skyee, you'll know when you feel it. Just carry on as you are and when you know, you'll know, you know?"

The last sentence confused me a bit, but i knew what she was getting at, after that was over and done with, we had the general catch up , Shannon talking about all the boys she'd met in ireland, and me constantly bringing up Dan, her talking about food in ireland , me talking about the time I got chineese food with Dan, her talking about music, and me talking about how me and Dan sat in my room and listened to muse for hours on end , singing along and playing air guitar, everything we talked about circled back to Dan. Shannon didnt seem to mind. She liked the sound of Dans best friend Phil, she too, had a bit of a thing for guys with "the fringe", but she was very ballsy and won't take shit from anyone .Stubborn,  but that's part of the reason why I loved her  . I said we would all meet up and go out together for my birthday. It was getting late and me and Shannon had plans in the morning to go out in town and have a good shopping spree, she put on her pjamas and we ended up watching mean girls in my room and falling alseep in my room together .

aaaand done, hey guys, please don't hate me, I know this took forever to update, but I've been  really busy with school and stuff, loads of exams meerrhh, anyway thanks for reading. And about Shannon, she's based on my best friend, and I really couldn't live without her, she's been there for me when nobody else was lately, and I wanted to show some appreciation in some way, so just so  you know, I LOVE YOU! anyway, I will be updating again soon, adios bitchachos ♥
