*three years later*
Dan's P.O.V.
"Hey internet" I gave my little salute and carried on "okay, well. I'm getting straight to the point. I've hit 3 million subscribers!!, this is actually amazing I would never have imagined this. I mean I wish I could go back to 2011 me when I dropped out of University and tell myself this would happen. I mean that's when I started taking my videos more seriously, I moved in with Phil and his girlfriend, and well now, 3 years later. I have 3 million danosaurs and well. That amazes me everyday. thanks for sticking with me through it all." I finished my video but couldn't really be bothered to edit. I walked into the kitchen to see Shannon and Phil snuggled up on the sofa.
"hello" I coughed and made myself heard , I didn't want them to randomly start snogging or something
"hey Dan, new video? these walls are paper thin, I heard you talking to yourself." Phil asked looking up at me.
"yeah, my 3 million video" I did a little hand dance in celebration " and don't remind me about paper thin walls, I know that already , we need to sound proof or something..I didn't want to say anything but I heard you two again last night"
Phil laughed but Shannon just looked disgusted.
"Sorry about that Dan, but she has nee-" Phil got cut off from Shannons finger pressed against his lips as she answered a phone call, She got up from Phil's lap and walked into they're shared bedroom, which was unfortunately right next to mine. I went to the fridge and pulled myself out a Ribena, I pointed at it and nodded signalling if Phil wanted some
"yes, please" he grinned
I heard a loud un-human squeal come from Phil's bedroom.
" what the fuck was that? "
"no idea" Phil trailed off and ran to his bedroom to investigate.
Phil's P.O.V
I ran to my door and opened it without hesitation to see Shannon still talking on her phone with a huge grin on her face , I went to ask her but before I could say anything she had put her finger to my lips again as she ushered me out of my own room.
"women confuse me" I said under my breath but Dan overheard.
"I feel you bro" he laughed
"yeah right, when was the last time you were with a woman? and I mean actually with her , not a one night stand" I asked him raising an eyebrow
Dan just gave me a look that spoke for itself. Shut the fuck up, Phil.
"Dan it's time to settle down, you're 22, you're not a teenager anymore"
"hey Grandpa, you're 27. you've had you're fun a long time ago, I'm still ready to party, just because you're all loved up doesn't mean I have to be. I like being single. I can do what I want when I want. I get with girls all the time, no commitment needed , you should want to be like me , Phil."
"don't worry Danny boy, you'll find a girl one day" I chuckled
"I don't want a girl, Phil!" he shouted sounding slightly irritated ,taking a sip of his ribena handing me mine.
With that Shannon came running out of my room with a grin still plastered on her face, whist jumping up and down
"GUYS , GUYS, GUYS, GUYS, GUYS, GUYS" she looked so happy she could explode.
"Jesus , Shannon, calm down , you'll hurt yourself." Dan butted in
"guess who's coming over this weekend?!?!"
"you're mum" Dan giggled, "no ...wait, I give up and don't really care " Dan giving Shannon a fake smile and taking another gulp of his ribena.
"SKYEE!" Shannon screamed as Dan spit out his ribena everywhere.
"what?" Dan said wiping his mouth
"Skyee, she's coming over!! this weekend!!"
"wait , Skyee as in the Skyee I haven't seen since Uni?" Dan stared at Shannon
"yeaah, I haven't seen her in like 6 months!! I'm so exited!!" Shannon jumped up and down again. Shannon would occasionally go and see Skyee, but for some reason Skyee never came here. So this would be the first time that Dan would see Skyee since three years ago.
"Woah, that's awesome Shannon" I walked up to her and put my hands around her waist "I haven't seen her, well in ages, it'll be great to see her" I smiled as I quickly kissed her.
"yeah, I haven't- um, yeah, its been years since-, yeah, um, yeah, I guess it would be cool to, um..see her" Dan stumbled on his words ,probably still in shock,
" Shannon babe, be right back" I said as I pecked her lips again, I pulled away and grabbed Dan's arm pulling him into my room with me.
"Dan." my eyes burned into his giving him a frown.
"Phil..." he mimicked
"don't tell me you still have feelings fo-"
"for Skyee? don't be stupid, of course I don't , it's been...what? three years since I've seen her."
"okay. good. because I knew she was coming."
" you what? " Dan opened his mouth in shock
" I asked her to come. why did you think Skyee would want to come here out of the blue? ....because since Shannon always goes to Skyee's place...I thought it would be nice for Skyee to come here for once...to be here for when I-" my mouth went dry
"when you what Phil?"
"When I- when I....propose to Shannon"
"what? why didn't you tell me?"
"because I wanted Skyee to be here, and I knew if I told you , you'd convince me it doesn't matter if Skyee is here or not"
"what? why would I do that?"Dan raised his voice and it went a little squeaky.
"because..you stil-....I don't know" I huffed,"listen I wanted Skyee to be here , because if it wasn't for her I wouldn't have met Shannon and I can never thank her enough for that. Im so happy I met Shannon, she makes my day, every day., she's the last thing on my mind at night and the first thing I think of when I get up and I can't think of a reason why I don't want to spend my whole life with her. I love her so much, Dan."
"well, I'm happy for you mate"
Dan offered me a manly handshake but I pushed his hand away and engulfed him in a bear hug.
about two sconds into our hug the door flew open to reveal Shannon talking on her phone again.
"nope, I was gonna have a nap, but there's two gaylords having a man-hug on my bed, well bye , speak later " She raised an eyebrow at me and Dan smiling a little as she hung up the phone.
Shannon walked out of the room and I had Dan to myself again. when I was sure Shannon couldn't hear me I spoke up.
"Dan one more thing" I said getting off the bed and edging away from Dan " Skyee isn't really coming this weekend...she's coming tomorrow..it's a surprise for Shannon"
"she what?!?" I heard Dan yell but I made my way out of that room quicker than a bolt of lighting.
hey guys...no I'm not dead, I havent uploaded in forever because exams and stuff...meh, well I know im kind of a crappy writer but I like where this is going...if I haven't made it obvious in previous chapters ...haha, I know I say this all the time but I really will try and update again soon .....k bye :D
