chapter 29 I think

phil pov

what the actual fuck? a question that needed to be asked.

But we all knew the answer, Phenoix and Charlie were naked in bed together and I doubt they were playing scrabble..., it was even clear what Dan and Skyee had been doing , Dan had his trousers on back to front Skyee had obvious sex hair.

I stood there in shock processing....So Dan and Skyee had both just slept with eachother and so had each of their partners....with eachother....

I don't understand. They all exchanged glares and it looked almost that they didn't care that they had caught their other half in the act with someone else....but managed to all look mortified at the same time.

Skyee's p.o.v.

I grabbed Dans hand....he'd just seen his girlfriend in bed with another man....my "boyfriend", if you will, and he'd just slept with me, I held his hand and it felt right, he looked at me and just spat out

"it's not what it looks like"  I just took a step back and raised an eyebrow...

"just please come with me" he added, pulling my arm into his room. Leaving everyone awkwardly in the spare room.

I wanted to cry, I thought what we just had was....amazing...something really special...and I just saw Phenoix  and the guilt....even though she'd obviously slept with Charlie,  I had still slept with her boyfrie-"It was all just a lie Skyee"- Dan interrupted my thoughts.

"what?"

"everything. Phenoix. it's all fake."

"Dan...you can't say tha-"

"no, just listen...it really was....she's actually just a friend"

"yeah, a friend you make out with and sleep with..."

"no!, I mean ...no. she really is just a friend....truth is when I found out you were coming here, I told Phe all about it and she suggested....." he flinched "she...suggested that, if she pretends to be my girlfriend then I wont look like such a fucking pathetic human..." he got quiet and almost looked like he was tearing up.

"Dan.....I did the same"

"what?"

"it's got to be more of a coincidence that I convinced Charlie to fake being with me to make you jealous..."

His face dropped....I was expecting anger, god knows why because he'd done the same fucking thing....but he just looked at me....and did I see a smile? No. I fucking didn't because he had burst out laughing.

"what do you find so funny?" I asked in an angry tone.

"as if we did the same thing, it's stupid enough for one of us, but both of us? great minds think alike eh?" he nudged me. But I'd had enough of this, it wasn't a laughing matter for me, even if it was pretend it fucking broke me to see him with Phe. ...I got off the bed we had been sitting on, and walked for the door.

Before, something pulled my arm.

"I think it's funny because I was trying to not look like I was in love  with a girl I hadn't heard from in three years"

my heart froze.....did he just say he still loved me?

"Skyee?...." he said my name, but expected a response. ...

"I-i love you too..." I cracked,  but I meant it. I could not stand him and I loved him with everything I had.

He leaned in and kissed me...it seemed to last forever...
