chapter 22

Dan's p.o.v.

"ouch" I said under my breath as I felt an elbow in my ribs. Taking me out of my trance ...I was clearly a little lost in Skyee's..l new appearance she looked just...stunning , wow.oh shit...how long have I been like this? fucking say something.

"hi, I'm Phenoix, Dan's girlfriend" Phe said giving a crazy smile and waving like a maniac.

"hey, I'm Skyee, and this, this is Charlie, my boyfriend" Skyee said pointing at Charlie behind her . I saw that Phenoix was admiring Charlie when he shook her hand. Okay time to get out of my head and back to the world of the living.

"I'm Dan" I said grinning as I gave Charlie my best fake smile and the manliest handshake I could give.  I don't know him, but I already hated this guy. Yet, why I hated him was a mystery

"nice to meet you Dan, I've heard a lot about you"

"oh have you now?" I looked and raised an eyebrow to Skyee.

"Daniel" she said in a stern voice

"Skylar" I replied mimicking her. she gave a weak smile before turning to Shannon.

"What time are we off Sha?" Skyee called to Shannon who was sat on the sofa.

"now in a second , let me get my bag" Shannon turned toward her room before looking back at all of us " oh, how rude of me" she laughed nerviously ", Phenoix was it? do you want to come with us? leave the guys to they're manly activitys? we're going shopping in town, you're quite welcome to come with us" Shannon offered

Phenoix looked at me as if to ask my permission and I just nodded

"yeah" She grinned and nodded rapidly.

"um, Dan , can I talk to you a minute?" Phil pulled me aside into his room

"Who the hell is she?"

"who? Phenoix?"

"yes,  apparently she's you're girlfriend yet, I've never seen her before"

"well, Me and Phenoix have been dating in secret for a while and we thought it's time to out our relationship, considering you're moving forward with yours" I actually sounded quite convincing

"oh, well...I thought it might be an act because Skyee brought her boyfriend along" Phil laughed

"yeah" I laughed nerviously "that would be pathetic"

"well, I'm glad you've had enough of one night stands and you're actually settling down, which is funny considering yesterday you seemed rather defensive on the topic of settling down" Phil patted my back and opened the door walking back into the living room, me following him close behind. I can't believe he bought it.

Just as I walked in the girls were on they're way out the door, and I thought I'd play along.

"bye babe" I waved and winked at Phenoix

"bye honey" she winked back

So ....me Phil and Charlie...home alone ...now what?

Skyee's p.o.v.

I know she's Dans girlfriend and I'm sopposed to hate the ex's new squeeze, but I can't help but love Phenoix, she's a little crazy and loud, but in a good way, she's not afraid of a little fun, I found out we like all the same bands so we had instant connection, we're quite alike except I'm very bohemian and she's rather...gothic? except for the bright pink trousers and matching lipstick.
