chapter 25

Dan's p.o.v

Shit. I checked the fuse board and there was obviously nothing i could do and after i called the electrician i found out he can't come until the morning, thank god it's only our flat that lost power otherwise I'd have a mob of angry pentioners at our door. I looked around the flat and found a few flashlights, and a lightsaber, oddly enough , it provided more light than a flash light, I set them all up in the living room, and the lights were dim, Skyee and Phenoix came into the living rooms with hands full of candles.

"where did you get them from?" I asked the girls as they starting putting candles everywhere and lighting them.

"well, I found a box of rose scented candles in the bathroom which I assume are Shannon's, I'm sure she wont mind, and I found a stash of bacon scented candles which I assume are Phils" Skyee stated

"you are correct" I nodded

Charlie came in the room with his laptop and a few duvets.

"well,my laptop has full charge and I have loads of movies on there, so shall we all just do that?" Charlie said proudly setting his laptop on the coffee table and we all squidged on one not-so-large sofa. Skyee was in the middle with me and Charlie either side of her, and Phenoix decided to sit on my lap. The movie started, it was some rom-com I'd never heard of with Ryan Reynolds in. Within fourty five minutes of the film only me and Skyee were left awake, Charlie fell asleep on the arm of the chair and Phenoix was fast asleep on my lap.

The film ended so, it was just me and Skyee sat in silence, it was really awkard and I felt like she was the only other person in the room.Well she was the only person awake.

"you two make a cute couple you know?" Skyee finally said and looked down at Phe.

I stroked Phe's long hair, it was so soft.

"yeah, I guess we do"

"I hope you two are happy together?" Skyee said almost sounding like a question.

"yes." I snapped "we're extremely happy together, what about you and Charlie?"

"happier than happy" Skyee said slightly raising her voice,  and gave what looked to me like an extremely fake smile.

"what's up with you?" I asked her ..

"Nothing, it's just almost like you don't even believe me and Charlie are a thing" she snapped

"I said no such thing" I defended

"nah, but you think it"

what the hell? I haven't said anything about her and charlie and she's getting all defensive about it. What's her problem? Jesus. Phenoix wriggled on my lap and lazily opened her eyes. Before opening them as wide as she could and bolting upright.

"guys, I've just remembered , my apartment is like four blocks away, we have electricity there, and then we wont freeze to death. Also I have a spare bedroom, you can share it with Charlie" Phe turned to Skyee.

"well it sounds like a better plan that sitting here and freezing to death" Skyee whined.urh.

We grabbed everything we could posibly need and made our way to Phenoix' apartment. It was a huge building , we walked into the lobby and a huge sign read "Fletcher's Luxury Apartments"

we walked into the lift and she pressed the button to the top floor, unlike the lift in our building, it  didn't stop half way,  the lift opened and there was a long corridoor with only one door at the end. We walked over to it and Phe un-locked the door.
