How many lifetimes,
And how many years
For someone to reach forever
Not clouded by any fear?
Do you have to be immortal
To live before it ends?
Or should we all die first,
Before infinity bends?
And now I'm asking you again,
Hoping you'd answer this time
But then there was your silence
Your breaths falling into rhymes,
And at that very moment,
I finally quite knew,
That forever is uncertain
But then, so are you
Yet, every second passing,
Each minute we spend here
Could live up to forever,
Through every smile and tear,
And now a new question
Came knocking on my head,
Could forever be a someone
Not a someday instead?
For if it truly is, I've found mine,
And I think he found his too,
For when he smiled, he said "I know now,"
"If there's forever, mine is YOU."
