I had always known it from the start
That it wasn't right for me to accept your heart
I am the lone wolf that people don’t notice
Also like the thorns they remove from roses

Knowing that side of me, you still stayed near

Bright stars in your eyes were slowly fading
The love you showed was now called hating
These starving beasts from before are killing me
They’re also not letting your peaceful heart be

I’m hoping to touch that source of light again
But I fear the damages would not mend
Our different worlds which collided is to blame
