My Confession, His Deception

As your silhouette approached me, felicity overflowed

For I've wanted to whisper the truth to your windows

But until I caught a fresh glimpse of your shapeless lips

I acknowledged your deadening intangible burdens

Once decorated by floral prints was your bright sundress

But in order to secrete scars, you wore a black fur coat

In our childhood, stringing beads of color was a hobby

Now, your jewels of bliss rolled underneath your pillow

Deceiving fate took your hands, leading you to torment

A red string binding your heart was complete illusion

Within boundaries, you denied your glimmering wings

Constant decisions of remaining in his wrath dwelled

Glancing beneath your pale skin full of sorrow, I tried

All you revealed were bleached photos of your lover

Then, gravity allowed you to falter onto my arms

Crystal words rapidly flowed out of your concealed irises

Though my task only includes handing you a handkerchief

I know I could no longer strive for another anxious day

But this truth might remind you of his collection of lies

So with this key I'll lock my heart and erase my confession
