On this pile of ashes and debris, I lay
Painfully waiting for the fog to blur the day
As I felt the toxin erode my sanity,
I recalled the times without my dignity:I once envied the grins of the wealthy
Soon, I realized they were worst than filthy
They despised every riffraff like dust
And preached words of loath and disgustMy family of paupers constantly mourned
While emaciated bodies were shamelessly torn
We combined our vanities to shield us
From the venomous riches hinted with lustFor years, we strengthened our foundation
But the aristocrats burned down all prevention
In horror, I watched my kindred die
Smoke blocked fearful faces about to cryMy golden emotions began to waver
Until they were worth nothing to savor
Each day, I planned on striking back
With wrath, jewel-filled lives will crackFor now, I lay in my paralytic world
Where the ashes and debris began to swirl
The toxin rapidly pumped into my heart,
Releasing specs of black dirt to rip it apart
