WARNING: angsty and possibly offensive ranting coming up
You know what bothers me here on WP?
When you follow people but they don't follow you back.
It just upsets me when that happens. I mean, personally, I believe following back is the equivalent to thanking the person who followed you.
I mean, sure, the person could just not use Wattpad often enough to see that you followed them. I get that. But its when the person thinks they are too good to follow you back or whatever. I've seen accounts with thousands of followers, but they are only following like three people. And those three people are their backup accounts.

THIS IS NOT A COMPETITION. JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A LOT OF VOTES DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE AND YOU SHOULDN'T FOLLOW ANYONE BACK.
I've been going on random following sprees lately, and I tend to look at how many followers they have compared to how many people they are following. If the latter is almost equal or greater, I'll follow them.
I always try to follow people back, and I like to leave messages on people's profiles to thank them. I think following back can get you more followers in the long run. And if I ever hit 1k followers (fingers crossed) or even 100, I'll still follow people back.
I just think everyone here should just try to live in harmony and everyone should follow everyone back despite how "good" they think they are.
So yeah.
