So I was just thinking:
What if Wattpad authors got paid like YouTubers and authors?
I mean, think about it. Lots of YouTubers get paid for making videos, so authors could get paid for writing books.
PoaTP could be my main book (or channel), and then SoML could be like a vlog channel. It's so much safer than putting your face on the Internet, and allows a lot more variety. Typically with YouTube you see the same trends and videos across channels. There are so many books on Wattpad, and there is a lot of diversity.
And just think how good this would be for Wattpad. Popularity would rise, leading to the ability for the company to improve upon itself.
And, think about how good it would be for this generation. Kids would be inspired to write more, and they can earn money to use to improve their skills. And to put towards college, hobbies, and other miscellaneous things that would help round out today's kids. Kids can help support their families and use the money for charities and whatnot.
I doubt this will happen, but it would be so cool if it did.
