Ryuu pov:

When we got home, I got an earful from okaa-san. She became so worried and otou-san pretty much stopped me from searching for schools.

I was so mad at him. He told me he already applied me for Seigaku. I thought he would actually let me look for my own school. Pretty much just stopped talking to him for now.

It was breakfast time so when I went down to eat, otou-san was wary of me. Today was a Western-style meal like any other day.

While I was eating, Nanako nee-chan came over and told me that Ryo-nii has a tournament today. She told me that he was a bit late though.

Tournament huh. Maybe I should go see how it is.

I finished my meal quickly, "Thank you for the meal." and put my plate and dishes in the sink. I got ready and left for the tournament place.

Timeskip and we are at da tournament:

It seems like I made it just on time to see Ryo-nii's match.

I saw the scoreboard and saw that the opposing team is from Fudomine Seigaku seems to be leading by one point. 2-1.

I looked at the court and Ryo-nii and his opponent were completely ignoring the flow of the game. -sigh- they are too excited about the game. When I came, the score was 40-15 with a game count of 3-1. Many people are amazed by the performance given. The rally was continuing on for a long time and the opponent seemed to have a hard time. Ryo-nii won this game and the game count became 4-1 with Ryo-nii leading.

The opponent seemed to be muttering some words as he continued rallying with Ryo-nii. That was when I noticed something was off.

He was using Spot. Ryo-nii doesn't know this, so he might do something stupid.

I went over to the players and heard Fuji-san saying, "There's something wrong with that attack style. It looks like he's hitting topspins and slices to his forearm and backhand, but..."

They kept watching and Oishi-san said, "You're right!"

I guess the effects of Spot was taking place because Ryo-nii completely missed a returnable shot.

Oishi-san asked, "What was that?"

Kikumaru-san said, "It looked like Ochibi's movement was frozen for a second."

Ryuzaki baa-san said, "He's pretty good, using a provocation like that."

I just said, "He's going to experience some trouble from now on."

The players looked at me as Kikumaru-san asked, "Nya? What's wrong with Ochibi?"

"-sigh- just continue watching. I know that move because I experienced it before."

Ryo-nii moved his hand around for a bit. Then he continued on with the game.

That was when his body completely froze up. He was struggling to move.

Ryo-nii you baka... He kept moving and eventually, his racquet slipped out. It went flying to the poll and broke. The broken pieces went flying back and hit Ryo-nii.

The braid-haired girl went over to Ryo-nii to try to help his injury. Tch she shouldn't be doing that.

"Oi. Braid-haired girl. You can't be going into the courts when a game is occurring. Even if the player got an injury, you can't go in."

She looked back at me and she seemed a bit angry. She asked, "Aren't you worried for Ryoma-kun? You're his sister. Shouldn't you be the most worried about him right now?"
